Objectives. To study the communicative tolerance (CT) of the medical faculty students of VSMU and to analyze its gender differences and dynamic characteristics. Material and methods. We examined 616 students of the medical faculty. These included the second-year students - 386 persons (117 boys and 269 girls), as well as the sixth-year students - 230 subjects (46 boys and 184 girls). The study of communicative tolerance was carried out using the methodology of V.V. Boyko «Diagnosing communicative tolerance». Results. The students demonstrated the predominance of the average level of the scale indicators and the degree of tolerance, which is considered to be optimal. The dynamics of the indicators of the levels of the scales and the degree of tolerance indicates a decrease in the quality of CT in the process of studying at VSMU. The identified patterns are most typical for young men. Conclusions. The revealed general, gender and dynamic features of CT of the second- and the sixth-year students prove the need to form within the framework of the educational process, the communicative competence of future doctors, an important component of which is CT. The increase in CT can be ensured through the qualitative mastering of such academic disciplines as «Biomedical ethics and communication in health care» (the first year of studies) and «Professional communication in medicine» (the sixth year of studies) by medical students.
Резюме.Цель исследования -изучить компетентность личности (КЛ) студента лечебного факультета ВГМУ как компонент его конкурентоспособности. Методы. Нами было обследовано 432 студента 2 курса лечебного факультета ВГМУ. Для исследования профессионального интереса через предпочтения определённого типа профессии использовалась методика «Дифференциально-диагностический опросник» Е.А. Климова. Изучение коммуникативных и организаторских особенностей личности студентов проводилось с помощью методики выявления «коммуникативных и организаторских склонностей» (КОС-1) Б.А. Федоришина и В.В. Синявского. Для исследования предпочитаемого способа мышления использовался тест «Индивидуальные стили мышления» А.А. Алексеева, Л.А. Громовой. Результаты. У студентов выявлено преобладание самостоятельного, осознанного характера выбора типа профессии, наличие у трети студентов низкого уровня развития коммуникативных и организаторских склонностей, а также обнаружен «маскулинный» характер мыслительной деятельности. Кроме этого, выявлены гендерные особенности компетентности личности студентов. Заключение. Исследование компетентности личности студента лечебного факультета ВГМУ как структурного компонента его конкурентоспособности позволило выявить ряд особенностей, которые необходимо учитывать при создании программы формирования конкурентоспособности личности студента ВГМУ. The aim of the research is to study communicative tolerance of students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of VSMU and analyze its dynamical characteristics. When comparing the degree of communicative tolerance for the 1<sup>st</sup>, 2<sup>nd</sup> and 5<sup>th</sup> year students respectively, there is a tendency towards a decrease in high and low degree of communicative tolerance and an increase in its average degree. It suggests about positive influence of the educational process on the communicative competence formation of a future pharmacist. Students with a high level of scale indicators (low degree of communicative tolerance) should be within the view of teachers of the Faculty of Pedagogics and Psychology with the course of Retraining and Advanced Training Faculty, employees of the social and pedagogical and psychological services, curators of academic groups and tutors.
The purpose of this research is to study the need for the students' communication activity component at the Pharmaceutical faculty of VSMU. Dual feature of the levels indicators dynamics in the need for communication is revealed. On the one hand, there is a tendency to reduce the average level in the need for communication and to increase its high level at the expense of girls. On the other hand, there is a fairly significant increase in the average level in the need for communication among young men against the background of an obvious predominance of the average level in the need for communication among the students of the entire sampling. The study allows us to state obvious influence of the informational educational environment at VSMU on the personal growth of students at the Pharmaceutical faculty, on the formation of their communicative competence as the most important component of the professional competence of future pharmacists. The results of the study can be used in the educational process of VSMU, in the activities of the social and pedagogical and psychological service, in the work of educators in academic groups and for tutors.
