Growing chickens for meat is the main link in the technological chain of broiler production. Broilers – the final hybrid obtained as a result of interbreeding of different chicken breeds lines (meat parent forms), tested for compatibility. Because of this, the bird has an intense growth rate, high taste of meat. Consumer demand for broiler meat has been increasing steadily in recent decades. Biostrong 510 (BIOSTRONG 510) herbal feed supplement to improve palatability and increase consumption or feed for farm poultry. The mechanism of action is based on the joint action of several plant substances, in which there are active substances, which, when combined, affect a certain category of animals. Four groups of broiler chickens (1 control and 3 experimental) of the Cobb 500 cross at the daily age of 50 heads each were formed to conduct the experiment by the method of analogues. The experiments were carried out with the daily up to 40 days of age. Expenses of feeds in the experimental groups was lower than in the control group by 0.07, 0.13, 0.12 kg, respectively. The purpose of this work was to establish the feasibility and effectiveness of enrichment of animal feed with vegetable feed additive "Biostrong 510" used in the production of meat broiler chickens. Assessing the results of scientific and economic experience, we can safely say that in all the experimental groups in which "Biostrong 510" was used as an additive, the gain in the live weight of broiler chickens was increased compared to the control group. In total, 4020 g of compound feed was spent for the period of an experiment for each experimental group of broiler chickens. Due to the improved taste of feed, the palatability in the experimental groups was higher than in the control group by 0.3 %; 0.9 %; 0.8 %. The cost of feed in the experimental groups was lower than in the control group. For example, in the control – 1, 87 kg per 1 kg of body weight gain. In experimental – below 0.07; 0.13; 0,12 kg, respectively. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the viability of experimental broiler chickens was almost 100%. The natural loss of livestock was only due to technological injuries. The obtained data on the productivity of broiler chickens indicate a favorable effect of plant feed additive on the live weight of broiler chickens. Based on the results of the research, we recommend to introduce a plant feed additive based on essential oils and plant substances "Biostrong 510" in the composition of complete feed in the amount of 150 g/t to increase live weight, growth intensity, preservation, meat productivity, reduce feed costs per unit of broiler chickens of the cross "Cobb 500".
Studies on growing young pigs for rearing and fattening using a mixture of enzyme preparations were carried out on animals aged 2 to 7 months in the dynamics of their growth and development. The animals receiving compound feed used in the economy served as control. The compound feed of the first experimental group was enriched with a mixture of additional enzyme preparations amylosubtilin G3x and cellolux-F, and the second experimental group – a mixture of amylosubtilin G3x and protosubtilin G3x. The use of a mixture of amylosubtilin G3x and cellolux-F increases the average daily growth by 13.6 %, reduces feed costs by 11.8 % compared to the control group’s pigs, a mixture of amylosubtilin G3x and protosubtilin G3x - an average daily increase of 8.7 %, a decrease in feed costs by 7.9 % compared to the control group’s pigs. The highest content of muscle tissue in the half-carcasses was observed in animals in the first experimental group (58.5 %) and in the second experimental group (58.17 %), which is higher in the control group by 0.93 and 0.6, respectively. The results of research in the technology of pork production reveal new possibilities of using a mixture of enzyme preparations.
The paper deals with the effectiveness of the drug “L-lysine monohydrochloride feed”. Animals of the experimental group additionally included in the main diet of 2.5% L-lysine monohydrochloride feed by weight of concentrates. The inclusion of the studied additive in the diets of young pigs contributes to an increase in the average daily gain of 14.1%, reducing the cost of feed by 11.73% compared with the control group. As a result of the research it was found that due to the use of the drug L-lysine monohydrochloride feed, an additional 3.38 kg gain per head or 253.5 rubles was obtained. During the study on laying hens aged 25 to 33 weeks, egg production was studied, which by the end of the experiment was: 93.7% in the control group, 95.2% in the experimental, which is 1.5% more. In addition, there is a tendency to increase egg weight by 1 g or 1.8%, yolk weight and its specific weight in the egg by 2 g or 13.3%, respectively, as well as thickening of the shell by 3 microns or 8.1%, and a decrease in shell content by 1%.
This research aimed the development production of prophylactic whey drinks which allows enhancing the efficient use of resources of high-value dairy byproducts including cheese and curd whey. High level of safety and quality of milk supplied, soft, semi-hard cheeses and dry-curd cottage cheese, as well as curd whey were adapted. Pepper mint was added as a source of extra vitamins, mineral salts, macro- and micronutrients, dietary supplements. The first recipe for a whey drink with the addition of mint syrup includes curd whey 1 L, mint 1 g, sugar 30 g, water 25 mL, citric acid 4 g. The second recipe differs from the first in that peppermint contains 2 g, the third recipe for mint contains 3 g. The amount of whey, sugar and citric acid in the second and third recipes corresponds to the first recipe. Plant-based components of whey drink act as analeptics and expand the assortment. Also, the research aimed to develop zero waste and low waste technology for private and collective farms and agricultural holdings and as a result, provide the solution to whey disposal issue.
