The article analyzes the features of integration and disintegration processes in the interaction of government and society in the context of the immediate global threat caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors substantiate the need for the analysis of the interaction between society and government, which is of great theoretical and practical importance for minimizing social dangers, overcoming threats in risk conditions. Based on the data of the interpretation of the results of an empirical study conducted in 2020 in the Republic of Adygea and the Krasnodar territory, some features and practices of interaction between the government and society in risk conditions were identified; the specifics of the "risk policy" implemented by the government in terms of its influence on (dis)integration processes was determined; the strategies of regional political elites in conditions of uncertainty were differentiated; a system of indicators necessary for the construction of a comprehensive index of (dis)integration in regional society was developed.
In the article, trust in the authorities is considered as a political and sociological category. The level of public confidence in the regional authorities of the Southern Federal District subjects, the Republic of Adyghe and the Krasnodar Territory, is empirically characterised. Based on the materials of a sociological study conducted by the authors in September -October 2021, citizens' degree of personal trust in authorities institutions is analysed. In general, the population cited the inefficiency of decisions and measures taken by regional authorities as the main reason for distrust of the authorities. Among other reasons, citizens called abuse of authorities, incompetence, low level of professionalism, the closeness of the authorities, insufficient informing of the population about the situation in the region and the measures taken, low moral level of the authorities. The data of the sociological study confirm a relatively low level of trust of citizens in regional institutions of authorities. Based on the assessments of the population, the main factors on which the level of trust in the authorities depends include: strengthening the personal responsibility of the heads of authorities; openness and transparency of the activities of authorities; taking into account public opinion when making decisions. A comparative analysis with the results of the 2020 study conducted using identical tools shows that the level of institutional trust in the regions has decreased slightly over the year.
Modern Russian political science has been actively researching identification processes at all levels in society in recent years. In this regard, understanding of the dynamics, specifics and content of the identity of national journalism seems to be relevant. In essence, identity in the field of mass media and mass communication remains outside the field of scientific interests of researchers. The article focuses on the interdependence of journalism identity and political identity, political and information space. Journalism as a social institution, the institution of mass media is the most important component in the structure of the political system of society. This dictates the need and relevance of the study of various aspects of the identity of Russian national (state) journalism, its identification factors. Journalism is a sphere of public activity (openness, transparency, publicity), the ability to freely receive and distribute information addressed to a mass audience. The factor of open information boundaries, wide and close interaction of the media requires real integration within the framework of all-European and world information systems. Consistently implementing the constitutional principles of freedom of information, Russian journalism must clearly identify and defend its identity in the global information space. In information interaction and counteraction, the problem of the identity of journalism, which closely interacts with political and ethnic identities, is quite acute. In the research field of identity within the framework of domestic political science, identity in the field of information and journalism remains poorly studied. The problems of political science in the field of identity research are equally becoming the focus of attention of philosophy, sociology, history and psychology. Certain aspects of the identity of information and journalism can be found in interdisciplinary research, the achievements of various social sciences and humanities.
