PurposeThis paper aims to explore employee perceptions of companies engaged in services and banking of the role of change leadership on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) that will impact the performance and work engagement in conditions that are experiencing rapid changes.Design/methodology/approachThis study has used a quantitative research approach, and data analysis uses an approach structural equation modeling (SEM) supported by program computer software AMOS 22.0. A total of 357 respondents were involved in this study, but only 254 were qualified. In this study, the respondent is an employee of companies engaged in the services and banking sector in the East Java, Indonesia region.FindingsThe results reveal that AI has a significant positive effect on employee performance and work engagement. Change leadership positively moderates the influence of AI on employee performance and work engagement.Originality/valueThe development of this model has a novelty by including the moderating variable of the role of change leadership because, in conditions that are experiencing rapid changes, the role of leaders is essential. After all, leaders are decision-makers in the organization. The development of this concept focuses on studies of companies engaged in services and banking. Employee performance is an essential determinant in the organization because it will improve organizational performance. In addition, the application of AI in organizations will experience turmoil, so that the critical role of leaders is needed to achieve success with employee work engagement.
Employees become movers in all types of businesses. Good or bad depends on the job performance of its employees. Therefore, managers are currently starting to discuss investments that consist of coaching for employees. Intense inter-company relations, so that inter-company relations will affect his work and will have an impact on his Job performance. For the sake of hope is to improve employee performance and development. the purpose of the research is to find out the effect of coaching on the job performance that is moderated by co-worker support. This study discusses the relationship between providing coaching to XYZ employee job performance in a company that is moderated by co worker support. This study will explore the exploration of training provided to employees. The sample size of this study is 80 employees and author use PLS (Partial Least Square) to measure the research model. The results of the study explain significant coaching on job performance. However, mentoring is moderated by the support of coworkers is not significantly approved for job performance.
Islamic leadership is a universal leadership styles that are currently starting to be widely studied, because Islamic leadership does not only touch the worldly aspect, but also touches the spiritual aspect. The balance of these two aspects certainly affects the comfort of individuals in the organization by working optimism and enthusiasm so that it has a positive impact on organizational success. This study uses a quantitative approach by using surveys to collect the data. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, which the respondent’s criteria has a moslem leader, with a sample size of 146 respondents in the banking sector. The results showed that Islamic leadership has a positive effect on work engagement and work ethics. Then, work ethics has a significant positive effect on work engagement. Finally, work ethics mediates the influence of Islamic leadership on work engagement. Practically, Islamic leadership gives a good environment to the employee by facilitated the work ethics to make employee dedicated and spirit in organization.
School rehabilitation is an effort made by schools to overcome problems that exist in schools, including student problems. The purpose of this study was to describe the identification of problems and problem solving of students in Junior high school Sabilul Muttaqin Sampang. The research method is qualitative with an analytical study approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing techniques with reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Technique of data validity by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed: (1) identification of student problems, including: discipline or activeness in school, school uniforms, student quantity, dislike of subject matter, dislike of teachers, bad ethical problems, and disobedience to school rules. (2) Handling student problems, among others: first with a face to face approach by giving directions and warnings to students. Second, giving awards to students who are disciplined and give punishment to students who are not disciplined (problematic).. The third is holding Muhadhoroh Bersama activities once a week. And fifth, providing guidance and counseling to students who have severe problems at school.
