This study aims to determine the influence of external factors (inflation and BI rate) and internal (CAR, REO, FDR, and NPF) on the level of profitability of sharia banks in Indonesia as measured by ROA. The data used in this study is the data of Sharia Commercial Bank and Sharia Business Unit in Indonesia from 2011 to 2018 using monthly data. This research uses error correction model which is commonly abbreviated as ECM. The results show that the external and internal variables together significantly influence the ROA variable. Individually, CAR, NPF and Inflation variables have no significant effect on ROA, while FDR and REO variables in both short and long term have significant effect on ROA. BI rate in this study has no significant effect on ROA in the short term, but has a significant effect on ROA variable in the long term
The capital market is a source of fresh funds in the long and short-term. The existing of the institution is not only a source of funding but also as an investment facility. This study aims to measure the impact of macroeconomic conditions (BI Rate, Exchange Rate and World Oil Prices) and the international Sharia stock index (Dow Jones Islamic Market Index Japan and Dow Jones Islamic Market Index US) on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index with using the error correction model (ECM). The results showed that BI rate and DJIM US have the significant effect (5%) on Indonesian Sharia Stock Index in the short, while the exchange rate and DJIM Japan are significant at the 10%, and the world oil price is not significant. In the long-term, BI Rate, exchange rate, DJIM US and DJIM Japan have a significant effect, while the world oil price has not a significant effect.

PENDAHULUANPerkembangan kegiatan investasi dewasa ini telah mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat. Hal ini terjadi seiring dengan bertambahnya tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang bagaimana praktek berinvestasi secara optimal serta didukung dengan kondisi perekonomian dalam negeri yang cukup stabil. Salah satu cara berinvestasi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan investasi pada pasar modal. Pada tahun 2008 terjadi sebuah goncangan hebat dimana Amerika Serikat sebagai negara adidaya mengalami krisis.Menurut Suhartono (2013) dalam satu dekade terakhir ada beberapa krisis ekonomi yang mengguncang dunia seperti krisis subprimemortgage yang terjadi di Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2008 dan krisis hutang yang terjadi di benua Eropa pada tahun 2010. Krisis subpreime mortgage ini berawal dari kegagalan pembayaran kredit perumahan (subprime mortgage default) di Amerika Serikat. Krisis kemudian menggelembung merusak sistem perbankan dan sektor keuangan lain bukan hanya di Amerika Serikat namun meluas hingga ke Eropa lalu Asia. Selanjutnya yaitu krisis yang terjadi di Eropa pada tahun 2010. Krisis Eropa berawal dari negara Yunani. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena adanya ketidak jujuran pemerintah Yunani yang mengutak-atik nilai pertumbuhan ekonomi makro. Hal tersebut merupakan awal jatuhnya perekonomian Yunani dimana pemerintah Yunani berusaha menutupi angka defisit negara yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya kasus penggelapan pajak, yang diperkirakan telah merugikan negara hingga US$ 20 milyar per tahun (Gunawan, 2012).Akibat kehebohan yang terjadi pada pasar saham konvensional, keberadaan saham syariah sedikit terabaikan. Sebenarnya, apabila di telaah lebih lanjut, saham syariah memiliki keunggulan lebih dibandingkan dengan saham konvensional. Terlihat dari fokus saham syariah kepada transaksi yang halal dan bersih dari unsur manipulasi dan kecurangan, keadaan ini secara tidak langsung juga membuat saham syariah benar-benar sebagai saham yang dipilih.
Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is one of the key elements in increasing economic efficiency that can help create a conducive and accountable relationship between elements of a company (board of commissioners, board of directors, and shareholders) in order to improve the company's financial performance. This study aims to reveal the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) which is proxied by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, independent board of commissioners and sharia supervisory board in measuring the risk of financing and financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results of this study as a whole can be concluded that, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in measuring risk and financial performance of Islamic banks has no significant effect.
