Actually, the studies indicate a negative decline dynamics of the main indicators of the physical development and health of the modern young people receiving higher education. In our studies, it was found that the existing physical training programs are not able to provide the optimal level of functional readiness of the military students and officers of the military universities as needed to perform the professional tasks. Moreover, the purpose of research is the search for the optimal training effects aimed at increasing the military students' level of physical and functional training at the universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The participants of the research were the young men (17-18 years old) and they were the cadets of the 1st course of a higher education institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (n=28). All cadets had no medical contraindications and had similar indicators of the physical development. The duration of the study-5 weeks. During this time, the cadets of the experimental group were using the burpee exercises during the physical training classes. It should be noted that the method of using burpee included a systematic reduction in the intervals of recovery time between the exercises. Fortunately, to assess indicators dynamics of the young men, the tests were used that characterize the physical fitness level of the young people. The data statistical analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney U-test. The test results show a significant (P<0,05) advantage of the development level of the strength, speed-strength and functional abilities among the cadets of the experimental group. Indeed, it was revealed that the method of optimal training effects proposed by the authors contributes to a reliable (P<0,05) increase of some indicators of the physical development level of the young people in a relatively short (4-5 weeks) time interval.
Purpose: to work out methodic, facilitating successful conduct of health related trainings of students withy weakened motor (physical) fitness. Material: in the research 47 students with weakened motor fitness participated. Analysis of indicators of morbidity frequency and duration was carried out on the base of medical records’ studying during all academic year. Experimental methodic consisted of three chapters: execution of specifically selected Hatha yoga static postures, breathing exercises and boxing techniques. Breathing exercises were grouped in four complexes. Every complex was fulfilled during 6 trainings, after each of them the next followed. Results: it was found that frequency and duration of diseases statistically confidently decreased in academic year. It was shown that formation of healthy life style skills statistically confidently improved. Conclusions: we have determined: increased students’ interest to physical culture practicing; reduction of frequency and duration of diseases; higher level of formation of healthy life style skills.
Purpose : a significant increase in the level of everyday motor activity of students. It is intended to use the collection and exchange of data on the daily mobility of students in popular online networks and mobile applications. Identify the prospects for using social networks and mobile applications in the control and management of the body weight of students. Material : The study involved students (n = 30, age 19-20 years). Admission to the group occurred by sending out invitations to social networks. The main criteria for selecting female students are the same age and absence of diseases. Also taken into account the indicators of the body weight of female students. It was used the following methods for assessing the level of physical condition of female students: control over the body weight (weighing), time parameters of recovery of the body after performing a test load (sample with 30 sit-ups). To evaluate the results of the studies, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used. Results : multidirectional dynamics of changes in body weight data was detected among female students. In the control group, there was a slight increase in body weight. In the experimental group, a significant decrease in body weight was found. The recovery time significantly decreased by an average of 7±1 seconds (experimental group) and by 2±1 seconds (control group). The volume of daily motor activity of female students of both groups significantly increased. The students of the experimental group have higher rates of motor activity. Conclusions : the possibilities of using social networks and mobile applications are shown to increase the daily motor activity of students and the possibility of correcting body weight.
Abstract. Purpose: analysis of modern directions of physical culture education scientific and practical problems' solution in higher educational establishment of health related orientation. Material: analysis of publications in scientific journals. Results: we have shown significance of student's physical functioning as the basis of his motor, coordination and mental qualities' development. Main difficulties of existing physical education practice have been cleared up. It has been found that prevailing training of physical qualities at physical culture classes does not solve the problem of students' health strengthening. Ways to application of additional health related physical culture trainings have been shown. Transition to such trainings opens opportunities for creation a new concept, permits to effectively and relatively quickly implement its main ideas and principles in practice of HEE education. Conclusions: content of additional (health related) physical culture training envisages prevailing orientation on health related, general developing and sport-recreational tasks. With it first attention shall be paid to formation of physical, psychic and social-moral health as well as to personality-oriented approach in system of individual choice of physical culture means.
The purpose of the work: analysis of effectiveness of trainings in sport section by health related program, oriented on formation of professionally important qualities for students with weakened motor fitness. Material and methods: in the research students of main and preparatory health groups participated. We formed experimental group of students with weakened motor fitness (n=47, age 21.14±0.36 years). In sport section trainings, in this group special complex of exercises for attention, static exercises from Hatha yoga and breathing exercises by A.N. Strelnikova's system were applied. Control group included students with higher motor fitness (n=40, age 21.44±0.26 age). Statistical distinctions in age between control and experimental groups were not confident (p>0.05). For determination of weakened motor fitness we conducted six pedagogic tests. Results: we worked out training program, consisting of four parts: exercises for attention, specially selected Hatha yoga static postures, breathing exercises and technical actions from chosen kind of sports. It was found that all indicators (left and right hands' strength, vital capacity of lungs, breathing pause after inhale, heart beats rate in rest, Romberg's test, Kopylov's test) statistically confidently (p<0.05-0.01) improved after pedagogic experiment. It was also found that level of students' motor fitness formation increased (p<0.05-0.01) by tests: long jump from the spot, chin ups on high bar, shuttle run 3 х 10 meters, run during six minutes, forward bents. It was shown that formation of personality's professionally important qualities increased statistically confidently (р<0.05) practically by all tested parameters, with the only exclusion: awareness of significance of own study for modern society. Conclusions: The received data about motor fitness level formation and students' interest to physical exercises' practicing permit to plan physical culture classes. The purpose of such classes is to form personality's professionally important qualities: concentration of attention, interpersonal communication, resistance to stresses of different character, acquiring knowledge and skills in independent practicing of physical culture.
