Particle boards that have been produced, generally using wood powder, while the use of wood has been limited and diminished due to difficulty getting it. So the need for development in engineering the main material particle board in the form of wood powder and replace it with waste bagasse. The particle board manufacturing process is carried out by forging (compacting) between the mixture of sugarcane pulp particles and the BQTN 157 resin adhesive. Percentage of mixed usage 50:50 based on the fraction of weight and volume. In obtaining the mechanical properties carried out by tensile test. From this research, the average particle pull strength is 1.81MPa, strain 13.52% and elasticity 0,013GPa. In obtaining particle board as an engineering material that has good ability influenced many things such as particle (mesh) raw material, adhesive use, mixed composition, the process of forging. From the characteristics of the test results obtained so that the particle board of the bagasse with resin adhesive is very possible to replace the type of particle board made from raw wood powder.
The strength of the welding result is strongly influenced by several factors, one of which is the selection of high current. This study aims to determine the effect of high current of welding on the strength of low carbon steel welding joints. The process of welding the material uses the open V seam connection type. The variations of the high current used were 80 A, 100 A and 130 A. The specimen used was a carbon steel plate with code of 1.0038 with thickness of 8 mm and the electrode used was the E7018 electrode with diameter of 3.2 mm. The strength of the welding results is influenced by arc voltage, amount of current, welding speed, amount of penetration and electric polarity. Determination of the amount of current in metal joints using arc welding affects the work efficiency and welding materials. Based on the research, it was found that welding using high current of 100 ampere produced the highest tensile strength value of all test specimens that were given welding treatment and good penetration results.

Rangka batang (truss) adalah sistem struktural yang terdiri dari sejumlah bagian (batang), yang masing-masing diyakini bertindak sebagai sambungan pada simpulnya dan yang hanya dapat menahan gaya aksial. Pengukuran gaya-gaya pada rangka batang sederhana (truss apparatus) merupakan salah satu modul dalam Praktikum Fenomena Dasar Mesin. Praktikum ini bertujuan agar mahasiswa mampu memahami perhitungan parameter-parameter penting dalam Fenomena Dasar Mesin secara teroritis dan melakukan eksperimen menggunakan alat ukur untuk mengukur parameter tersebut. Dalam paper ini dilakukan kajian literatur tentang proses rancang bangun alat praktikum rangka batang (truss bidang) secara sistematik dengan meninjau model truss dan instrumentasi. Tinjauan model truss meliputi tinjauan tentang bentuk truss, jumlah batang, bentuk sambungan (joint), dan material rangka batang. Tinjuan instrumentasi meliputi sensor pengukur gaya, sistem data akuisisi, rangkaian alat elektronika, tampilan data melalui LCD dll. Hasil kajian sistematis ini akan digunakan sebagai sumber acuan dalam proses rancang bangun truss apparatus (rangka batang bidang) dilakukan di Jurusan Teknik Mesin Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negari Padang.
Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan mengenai diterapkannya model Blended Learning di mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik Mesin (PDTM) untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Karena selama pengamatan peneliti semasa PLK di SMK 2 Sawahlunto, pembelajaran cenderung kaku dan kurangnya variasi dalam model pembelajaran. Metode yang dipakai yakni Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)). Pelaksanaan penelitian ini berpusat kepada penerapan model Blended Learning pada kelas X Teknik Pemesinan 3 di SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 27 siswa. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, persentase kreativitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 60,03%, meningkat di siklus0II menjadi 80,2% dengan kategori tercapai. Peningkatan hasil belajar juga terjadi peningkatan, siklus I klasikal yang didapat ialah 66,6%, dan pada siklus II meningkat sebesar 84,3% yang dikategorikan tercapai. Dilihat dari hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan sebelum tindakan, permasalahan yang ditemukan sesuai dengan pengamatan peneliti ketika PLK kurangnya minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa yang belum tercapai KKM, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut peneliti mencoba pengenalan model pembelajaran Blended Learning. Dengan harapan bisa dijadikan acuan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar untuk mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik Mesin (PDTM) di kelas X Teknik Pemesinan 3 SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto. Sehingga diartikan dengan menerapkanomodel pembelajaran Blended Learning dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
