Nowadays, the field of just in time and operational excellence are considered a backbone and a critical pillar for many companies in order to achieve the competitive advantages. Consequently, the main aim of this study is to define the impact of just in time system on operational excellence in the (14) manufacturing companies operating at Al -Hussein bin Abdullah II qualified industrial zone (QIZ) in Al-Karak Governorate. The sampling unit and analysis (respondents) included (168) manager and head of divisions at the production and logistic departments, and selected purposely according to their work especially in the just in time system area within the target companies. Thus, the researcher designed a questionnaire including of (25) items to gather the desired data from study sample. This study also used the multiple regression analysis to test the hypotheses. The result of the current study found that the just in time system have a positive impact on the operational excellence in Jordanian industrial companies. According to these results the study recommending that the Jordanian industrial companies must emphasis essentially and mainly on their just in time system consisted of (equipment layout, supplier's quality, Setup time reduction; Pull production) in order to enhance and attain the operational excellence and gain competitive advantage. One of the most limitations is that the current study and its finding applied on the Jordanian industrial companies especially at Al-Karak governorate. Therefore, the results of present study can't generalize on the other sectors. Therefore, there is a need to conduct more studies and research on the other sectors such as food Industry and pharmaceutical industries in order to generalize the results. In addition to, conducting comparative studies with other industrial areas located in Jordan.
The current study's purpose is to measure the impact of strategic alignment and strategic awareness on strategic performance in Jordanian Industrial Companies that are working at the Al -Hussein bin Abdullah II qualified industrial zone (QIZ) in Al-Karak Governorate. The study used a quantitative approach. In addition, the questionnaire was developed to collect the data from the target sample. Besides, the current study consisted of 220 respondents. Two hundred twenty questionnaires were distributed to the top and middle management such as managers, deputies of managers, and heads of departments. Furthermore, the SPSS software version (25) was used to test the study's hypotheses. The current study found that strategic alignment has a positive and significant impact on strategic performance. Furthermore, strategic awareness has a positive and significant impact on strategic performance. The current study recommends that Jordanian industrial companies should develop and improve their information technology strategy to be aligned and fit with their organizational strategy which leads to exploiting the opportunities effectively and efficiently and thus improving strategic performance.
The current study aimed to identify the impact of strategic flexibility (Market Flexibility, Production Flexibility, and Competitive Flexibility) on organizational effectiveness in the Jordanian hotels (five stars).in order to achieve the objectives of the current study, the researcher designed questionnaire composed (31) paragraphs . The questionnaire divided into three sections. The section one involved the personal information (demographics information) the second section involved the items covered the questions that related with dimensions of strategic flexibility. And the third section involved the questions that related with organizational effectiveness. Moreover, the current study concluded that the strategic flexibility and its dimensions (market flexibility, production flexibility and competitive flexibility) have a positive impact on organizational effectiveness in the Jordanian hotels (five stars). Hence, According to these results the researcher recommending focusing the employees in the Jordanian hotels (five stars) on the production flexibility by adopting new system make the production within hotels (five stars) more flexible and updating the equipment's that used in the production and modifying the characteristics of current products.in addition, The current study has been applied on the Jordanian hotels located in Amman. Therefore, one of the most important limitations it is not possible to generalize the results of this study to hotels in other governorates while the current study focused on five star hotels. On the other hand, the current study took three dimensions of strategic flexibility, but there are many dimensions should researchers take it in their study in the future and conducting more research and future studies that link strategic flexibility and organizational effectiveness and applied it on other sectors such as banks and hospitals with the introduction of some intermediate variables such as the infrastructure of the Organization and organizational culture.
The current research aims to identify the influence of organizational silence on job burnout in the shipping companies in Jordan. Therefore, the research population consists of (570) managers, their assistants, and heads of departments in the shipping companies in Jordan .whereas, the research sample consists of (230) employees. The Questionnaires were collected from 207respondents and formed 90% as a response rate. In addition, the current research used a simple random sample to collect data from respondents. Furthermore, the current research used the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique to test the research hypotheses. The results of the current research reached that the dimensions of organizational silence have a positive impact on job burnout. While the most important recommendation that the shipping companies should adopt the policies and cultures to reduce the job burnout phenomenon by encouraging the employees to speak without any limitations.
The pharmaceutical sector is one of the most important sectors at the level of countries because it has a big role in the development and sustain of other sectors. Therefore, the aim of this study examined the role of quality of work life in building learning organization in the (16) Jordanian Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. For the sample unit and analysis involved the employees selected randomly from the different areas in the target companies. In addition to, the researcher designed a questionnaire containing of (31) items to get the data required from respondents in order to attain study objectives. Moreover, the current study sought to explore the role of quality of work life in building learning organization in the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing companies. The result of the current study found that the quality of work life have a positive impact on building learning organization in Jordanian Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies and the highest impact for job satisfaction, then safety and healthy work conditions whereas the work environment is the lowest impact. Therefore, the current study recommends that the Jordanian Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies should focuses on quality of work life and their dimensions like job satisfaction, safety and healthy work conditions and work environment to build learning organization and achieve a benefits bundle or mutual interests to both employees and organizations. On the other hand, the current study applied on Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing companies’ .Therefore, there is a need to conduct more study in the future because the result of current studies limited and narrow. And also there is a need to take other dimensions of quality of work life like adequate and fair compensation and the social relevance of work life. And conduct further future studies on other sectors such as hotel, hospital and tourism. Moreover, conducting comparative studies with others sectors such as banks and clothes manufacturing companies.
