Bagan Tancap Pangandaran merupakan alat tangkap ikan tradisional yang digunakan nelayan untuk menangkap jenis ikan pelagis kecil seperti ikan teri dan udang rebon. Teknik pengoperasianyang masih tradisional membuat bagan tancap menjadi kurang produktif dan sangat tergantung dengan kekuatan nelayan yang mengoperasikannya. Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui jumlah daya yang diperlukan untuk mengangkat jaring dan hasil tangkapan pada saat haulling di atas bagan sehingga bisa dijadikan acuan sebagai perancangan alat bantu penarik bagan (roller). Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis untuk mengetahui luasan struktur alat tangkap, hasil tangkapan, drag force, gaya apung dan gravitasi dimana hasil hitungan tersebut disajikan secara numerik yang kemudian digunakan sebagai dasar menentukan besaran beban yang di terima. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dimana pada Bagan Tancap yang memiliki dimensi panjang, lebar, dan tinggi berukuran 10 x 10 x 15 meter serta dengan hasil tangkapan per setting sebanyak 200 kg, roller bagan tersebut harus dapat memngangkat beban minimal sebesar 4488,4 Newton apabila beban tersebut sudah ada diatas permukaan air. Namun hasil tangkapan dan alat tangkap yang diangkat roller bagan dengan kecepatan 0,05 meter/detik menghasilkan beban sebesar 327,2 Newton pada saat di kolom perairan dengan densitas 1025 kg/m3. Maka daya minimal yang diperlukan oleh roller bagan yaitu sebesar 22,44 kW.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa komoditas unggulan perikanan laut di Kabupaten Lamongan dan hasil tangkapan per uapaya sumberdaya ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus sp.). Metode analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengetahui komoditas unggulan adalah analisis Location Quotient (LQ) sedangkan untuk mengetahui hasil tangkapan per upaya menggunakan analisis Catch per Unit Effort (CPUE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komposisi hasil tangkapan yang dominan tertangkap oleh alat penangkap ikan cantrang yaitu ikan petek (Leiognathus sp.) dan ikan kurisi (Upeneus vittatus). Komoditas unggulan (LQ) di Kabupaten Lamongan yaitu ikan kurisi (Upeneus vittatus), cumi-cumi (Loligo spp.), pari (Dasyatis sp.), kakap merah (Lutjanus spp.), kerapu (Cephalopholis boenack), cucut (Centrocymnus crepidater) dan manyung (Arius thalassinus). CPUE sumberdaya ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus spp.) cenderung mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai tertinggi pada tahun 2015 sebesar 705 kg/unit.
Distribution of macrozoobenthos species and communities is influenced by several factors, one of the very influential factor is the environment. This research aims to study the diversity and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos and the environment conditions that influence it. Samples were taken from 31 research stations that spread along the Bulaksetra estuary. Determination of sampling points is done by randomly making zoning point so that the sample points can represent the characteristics of the entire Bulaksetra estuary zone. The data analysis used in this study were the species composition formula, individual abundance, Shannon Wiener diversity index, uniformity index, and Simpson dominance index. The results showed that 12 species of macrozoobenthos consist of 9 genus, 6 families, 4 classes and 2 phylum, with species composition dominated by Faunus ater 64.04%, average individual abundance of 239.95/m2, moderate diversity, moderate uniformity, and dominance of biota types faunus ater is classified as moderate but for other types classified as low.
Small-scale fishery activities that often occur in coastal areas Dumai City are part of the socio-ecological system, where the waters around the coastal areas provide services to several fishermen who live around and are interrelated with each other. This study aimed to identify the dynamic of social and ecological systems to the sustainability of small-scale fisheries in the waters of Dumai City. The are 3 research location in village, namely Pelintung, Tanjung Palas, and Bangsal Aceh. The research method is a survey using interview techniques with a questionnaire. The data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative, fishing gear productivity, fishermen’s income, and the relationship dynamics of the catch. The social characteristics of fishermen can be shown from their education, where most of the fishermen in Dumai City have elementary school education. The wives of fishers in Dumai City are mostly still taking care of the household, and only a few are processing fish. Fishers in Dumai City also carry out the duration of fishing operations based on the type of fishing gear (gillnet, scoop net, and portable trap). For the last seven years, the productivity of fishing with gillnet fishing gear has increased, while for scoop net and portable trap fishing gear, it has tended to decrease. The RPUE value of gillnet fishers shows the highest profit, where the average income in one trip is IDR 1,086,050.00 compared to other fishers. The fishermen’s perception also shows that the catch of gillnet fishers during the last five years has increased.
