Este artículo tiene como finalidad presentar los resultados de una revisión de literatura cuyo propósito fue identificar variables y dimensiones para la medición de la madurez de la gestión de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo. La revisión de la literatura realizada sobre 38 artículos publicados entre 2001-2017 en ScienceDirect, EBSCO, Eric y Redalyc y 6 documentos detectados a través de búsqueda iterativa, permitió identificar 10 dimensiones agrupadas en 3 variables que pueden contribuir en la medición de la madurez de esta gestión, a saber: contexto interno, contexto externo y el enfoque de la seguridad y salud en el trabajo (concebido como estrategia central).
La dinámica global de los mercados ha generado necesidades específicas para que las organizaciones sean sostenibles en el tiempo, puesto que la turbulencia y el cambio son permanentes. Este escenario ha permitido identificar que no solo la actualización tecnológica se convierte en un reto para la estrategia organizacional, sino que el valor que tiene el conocimiento es insuperable y que su direccionamiento y control son y serán prioridad en todas las organizaciones de todos los sectores productivos y de servicios, especialmente en las pymes, quienes aportan a la economía global de manera significativa. Por esta razón, la presente revisión sistemática de literatura de los últimos 10 años, tiene como objetivo determinar la incursión de la gestión del conocimiento como ventaja competitiva que asegure la subsistencia organizacional en un entorno interno y externo cambiante. Se identifica la importancia y acogida que ha tenido en las pymes y en sectores específicos de la economía, como son: el petrolero, el educativo (educación superior), el solidario (tercer sector), el manufacturero y el bancario, a partir de los cuales, se lograron determinar las dimensiones en las que se enfatiza la gestión del conocimiento.

Este artículo tiene como propósito analizar la importancia del work engagement (llamado de ahora en adelante “compromiso en el trabajo”) y su relación con la comunicación, el liderazgo y el uso de tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación, variables que influyen en el comportamiento de los trabajadores. Estas variables precisan análisis estadísticos validándose por el análisis del coeficiente de alfa de Cronbach, posteriormente la correlación por rangos de las variables respecto al compromiso en el trabajo dentro de un coeficiente de correlación de rho de Spearman, finalmente la identificación del rango y su medición general de comprobación. En general, se utilizó el método mixto de investigación por las características de esta, pues el enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo ayudan a la explicación clara del fenómeno realizado. Los resultados que se obtuvieron demuestran que dos de las variables analizadas tienen influencia significativa sobre el compromiso en el trabajo, lo que da una pauta de acción a la empresa editorial en la que se realiza este trabajo llevando a cabo acciones correctivas para mejorar el compromiso de los trabajadores.
Hablar de la calidad de la educación, es relacionarla con la excelencia y la competitividad de una comunidad educativa que tiene la necesidad de fortalecer e innovar sus procesos en un mundo de permanente cambio. La revisión bibliográfica realizada en ScienceDirect, ebrary, Emerald, EBSCO, Eric y Redalyc con un rango de búsqueda entre el año 2002 al 2016 permitió la consolidación de 11 dimensiones que integran 5 variables que inciden en la medición de la gestión de la calidad universitaria.
