This study aims to describe and analyze data about the management of strengthening character education in Sidoarjo Regency with a multi-case study at SMAN 1 Krian and SMAN 1 Taman. The management component starts from planning, organizing, imple- menting, monitoring, and evaluating the strengthening of character education at SMAN 1 Krian and SMAN 1 Taman Sidoarjo. The results of research related to the management of character education strengthening in Sidoarjo regency (multi-case studies in SMAN 1 Krian and SMAN 1 Parks) indicate that planning for strengthening character education must meet at least five aspects, namely referring to the vision and mission of the school, conducting assessments to identify potential schools, formulate and determine the val- ues of the main characters to be developed, school programs are arranged together with all school components, as well as teachers make character-based learning tools (RPP).
Sanggar Seni Kartika Budaya memiliki progam yaitu Seni Tari Sebagai Antisipasi Gadget Addict. Penelitian dengan judul “Pengenalan Seni Tari Pada Anak Usia Dini Sebagai Upaya Menangkal Kecanduan Gadget Di Sanggar Seni Kartika Budaya Kabupaten Jember” bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengenalan seni tari pada anak serta pengaruh terhadap minat anak bermain gadget. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil pembahasan dari penelitian ini 1) Proses penganalan seni tari pada anak usia dini berlangsung selama 3 bulan dengan menggunakan metode hitungan, metode musik, metode mirroring dan metode drill yang dipadu dengan belajar sambil bermain. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan 2 cara yaitu penilaian individu yang dilakukan pada akhir pemberian materi, dan evaluasi kelompok yang dilakukan pada akhir masa pembelajaran yaitu Uji Kompetensi Siswa. 2) Hasil pengenalan seni tari menunjukkan adanya pengaruh terhadap lama waktu anak bermain gadget, sehingga terjadi perubahan minat anak dalam bermain gadget. Tercatat 50% dari 14 anak sebagai sampel, sebelum dikenalkan dengan seni tari minat terhadap gadget sangat tinggi. Setalah dikenalkan dengan tari selama 3 bulan sebanyak 35% anak minat sedang dan 65% minat rendah. Selain itu perkembangan aspek motorik anak dapat berkembang dengan baik.
The existence of teachers in the world of education has a great influence to produce excellent students. Based on the law Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2005 about Teachers and Lecturers, who stated that teachers and lecturers have functions, roles, and a very important position in national development in the field of education, so it needs to show that its performance can be accounted for. Performance improvement is closely related with the problem of how to increase teacher motivation, how to develop an effective work culture as well how to create a work environment that is comfortable and conducive, so that the teacher can and is willing to work optimally. According to Nitisemito (1991: 184-196), influencing factors work environment is coloring, cleaning, lighting, air exchange, music, safety and noise. while work culture factors that influence are: (1) conditions the physical environment of work, such as giving awards, giving welfare, fulfilling infrastructure and facilities. (2) working environment conditions, such as support in carrying out tasks, communication and interactions with peers, people student parents, principal and public. For that, schools must be able creating a conducive work environment and work culture.
In its management, schools need quality assurance as a benchmark for assessing the success or failure of educational institutions. One of the most important aspects that affect the quality of education is leadership and quality management. The research objectives are: (1) to describe how the principal's strategy in improving the academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo (2) to describe how the principal's strategy is to improve the non-academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are: (1) the principal's strategy in improving the academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo is through the PPDB process carried out in 4 stages, supervising the learning process in order to know the achievements in the learning process, taking a good personal approach with all school stakeholders, excellent programs (Academic Skills) that can support students to continue to work and produce achievements. develop school planning as much as possible, analyze the challenges, obstacles and future opportunities that will be faced by SMAN 2 Sidoarjo (2) the principal's strategy in improving the non-academic quality of students at SMAN 2 Sidoarjo is a superior program of life skills in the form of learning to be able to survive in life , more productive and supported by existing programs in schools. Social Skill with the hope of being able to socialize in society. Develop school planning as much as possible, analyze the challenges, obstacles and future opportunities that will be faced by SMAN 2 Sidoarjo.
