The coronavirus pandemic is an unprecedented event in modern history, not only of aviation, but also of humanity. The negative consequences of the pandemic are not only related to the suspension of flights and the inability to transport passengers, but also have a great impact on other industries, such as the production of aircraft, systems and engines, tourism, the food industry, etc. The suspension of flights has led to many times lower revenues than planned, the dismissal of a large number of employees in this industry, as well as the cancellation of new airplanes ordered. Also, the prescribed health care measures that airlines must apply will affect a smaller number of passengers on planes, which means that each flight will be less cost-effective. Faced with large losses, airlines must organize in order to achieve maximum efficiency and a partial return to the levels of flying and transportation of people and goods that were achieved during 2019. The paper analyses the state and importance of the global aviation industry, the impact of the pandemic on business results and solving the problems of airlines.
In the flexo printing process, flexible food packaging materials are exposed to various effects (solvents, temperature, transport devices, etc.), that impact the quality of food packaging materials. Although, literature is available on the impact of these factors on the quality of food packaging, there are very few papers examining the impact of the flexo printing process on food packaging materials. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to examine if there are any changes occurring in tensile strength, elongation before tearing and gas permeability after the flexographic printing process regarding the selected flexible packaging materials -oriented polypropylene (OPP) and coated paper/polyethylene (PAP/PE). The measurement of tensile strength and elongation before tearing was carried out according to SRPS G.S2.734, and the measurement of gas permeability according to Lussy Method -DIN 53380. The results presented in this paper show that the tensile strength and elongation in both foil samples increased after the printing process (a higher increase of strength is determined in the PAP/PE foil). The exception is the PAP/PE sample, where increased permeability of N2 was observed. The reason for such results could be due to different surface characteristics of the tested materials since the process of ink absorption is different. Surface tension tests were conducted by applying measurements of the contact angle. The results show that the process of flexo printing did not change the functional properties of the packaging.
The economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic is evident in many sectors, from service to manufacturing, leading to a synchronized shutdown of an industry not seen since World War II. The pandemic has enormous social, economic and political consequences. It will undoubtedly be marked as a watershed moment in modern history and will cause a change in the lifestyle we have known for the last few decades. In addition to being one of the greatest crises in our civilization in shock, scale and depth, the pandemic has caused many problems for vehicle manufacturers. Broken supply chains, cessation of production, shutting down factories, layoffs and declining interest and customer demand are circumstances that are driving the automotive industry into a deeper recession. The aim of the paper is to point out the consequences that the coronavirus pandemic will have on the automotive sector, as well as to identify the deficiencies of the planning system, the lack of risk management and emergency management by analyzing the basic elements o f the supply chain.
Abstract:The role of managers in an organization is to ensure that employees are performing their tasks/duties in a proper manner, and in order to achieve this, it is necessary to hire the most skillful employees. In order to improve the performances of an organization, employees need to be motivated enough. Thus, motivation in theory and practice becomes a complex issue that can be viewed from different perspectives. Although there is a lot of research on motivation, this topic has not yet been fully clarified. We can observe how motivation affects the performance of an organization, through understanding the human nature. Recent research shows that well-motivated employees are more productive and creative in achieving organizational goals, whereas those less motivated demonstrate the tendency to fail in achieving organizational goals. Motivation as a system of incentives is the basis for the development of capacities that would lead to better performances. The largest number of managers in organizations is directed and towards achieving a greater share of the organization on the market, and thus better performances are necessary for achieving such objective. The aim of the research is to analyze how motivation can improve employee productivity, knowledge of the factors that cause high performances, as well as understanding of various ways that can motivate employees within an organization. UVODUpravljanje performansama uključuje mnoge uloge komunikatora, lidera, uzora i saradnika.
Sažetak: U mnogim čovekovim aktivnostima postoje ograničenja i nemogućnost njihove realizacije.
