Ziel dieser Arbeit ist ein besseres Verständnis der Funktionszuweisung der neolithischen Langbauten mittels Verteilungskarten des Phosphors und deren Evolution. Ein besonderer Akzent liegt auf den jüngeren Studien mehrerer endneolithischer Häuser. Die Karten wurden mithilfe von systematischen Phosphortests und einigen gezielteren Gesamt-Phosphatanalysen erstellt. Im Bereich der Funktionszuweisung und der Organisation der Gebäude zeichnen sich bereits einige Tendenzen ab, selbst wenn nicht alle Studien dieser Gebäude abgeschlossen sind. Die ersten Ergebnisse lassen grundlegende Aspekte der Methodologie und Taphonomie erkennen und ermöglichen es die zukünftigen Studien in den betroffenen Regionen zu orientieren.
À l’issue d’un diagnostic particulièrement riche en vestiges anthropiques mené en 2000-2001 sur la future emprise de la plate-forme multimodale Delta3, une phase de fouille préventive a été enclenchée au printemps 2002. Le gisement LA1, situé au sud du canal de la Haute-Deûle où une faible proéminence domine une zone marécageuse, semble le lieu d’élection de plusieurs occupations laténiennes. La fouille exhaustive des vestiges mis au jour sur une superficie de 7 ha fournit un phasage du site et une analyse de l’organisation spatiale des installations rurales sur plus de cinq siècles. La chronologie relativement haute des premiers aménagements caractérisés par de puissants fossés, de nombreuses structures de stockage et d’approvisionnement en eau, en fait une illustration d’appropriation du territoire et un site de référence à l’échelle régionale. Si le iii e siècle avant notre ère demeure le plus difficile à saisir, à partir du ii e siècle en revanche, le même territoire se pare de nombreux et vastes enclos.
