The protective properties of six corrosion inhibitors based on imidazolines, amides, amines and esters have been determined using gravimetric and potentiometric methods. The effect of inhibitor solvent on the protective properties has been examined. The dependence of inhibitor protective effect upon the content of nitrogen and functional groups has been determined. The most effective inhibitors have been chosen and their IR-spectra have been shown.
Abstract. 1 The problem of crude oil deficit for Ukrainian refineries has been considered. To solve this problem the import of crude from Nigeria has been proposed. Physicochemical properties of Nigerian oils, namely their fractional composition, potential yield of light fractions were investigated and compared with physico-chemical characteristics of Ukrainian crude oils. The possibility of Nigerian oils processing at JSC "Ukrtatnafta" (Ukraine) was grounded.
It is proposed to use plant and animal raw materials to produce corrosion inhibitors of oil refining equipment. The corrosion inhibitors based on vegetable oil and animal fat with di-and triethanolamine have been synthesized, nitrogen-containing corrosion inhibitors have been obtained, their physical and chemical parameters have been determined. By using the gravimetric method the protective effect of the received inhibitors was determined on St20 steel in a two-phase corrosive environment simulating the preliminary preparation conditions of oil at electro-salting and dehydration plants. It was shown that inhibitors on the basis of plant and animal raw materials, obtained under certain synthesis conditions, are able to protect the metal surface of oil refining equipment.
The textbook contains information: on the general characteristics and technical requirements for plastic oils; about the composition of plastic oils; about the basic physical and chemical, operational, ecological properties of plastic lubricants and methods of their definition. Considerable attention is paid to the classification, range and labeling of lubricants. The basic technological schemes of production of plastic lubricants are considered. Attention is also paid to the safety and protection of the environment during the production and use of plastic lubricants. The considered textbook plays an important role in the formation of professional knowledge in students of 161 specialties "Chemical Technology and Engineering" and students of higher technical educational institutions of III-IV levels of accreditation of related fields of knowledge. It can be useful for oil and gas professionals and engineers involved in the operation of machinery and the use of fuel, lubricants and technical fluids.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
