A imunologia é uma biociência fundamental à compreensão da fisiologia do organismo e de seu funcionamento. O seu ensino, na educação básica, no entanto, encontra grandes limitações, já que seu conteúdo é complexo e demanda conhecimento prévio em outras áreas. A fim de superar tais obstáculos, pode-se empregar, em sala de aula, recursos didáticos e atividades lúdicas como ferramentas de fomento do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Neste trabalho é apresentado peças didáticas construídas por acadêmicos do 7º período do curso de Ciências Biológicas Licenciatura da Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros, no primeiro semestre de 2022, utilizando pelúcia como material base. Como resultado foram produzidos dezesseis componentes, divididos em dez células e seis moléculas do sistema imunológico, no qual foram ressaltadas suas principais características, buscando por meio deste a representação lúdica da forma realista de cada componente celular e molecular.
Vegetables oils are renewables sources of ready availability with vast commercial employability. The application of these oils, generally, requires refining procedures for the removal of substances that make it unfeasible, such as phosphatides, proteins and free fatty acids. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of acid and aqueous degumming on the physical-chemical properties of crude oil of Mauritia flexuosa L.f. (buriti), palm tree of the family Arecaceae, very commercially exploited and well adapted to the Cerrado biome. Physical and chemical analysis were performed as acidity index, peroxide index, refraction, viscosity, density, gas chromatography coupled to the mass spectrometer and infrared spectroscopy before and after the refining process. The acidity, density and refraction indices didn´t change significantly during the treatments; however, significant differences were observed for the peroxide and viscosity parameters after the acid degumming process. Chromatographic and infrared spectroscopy results didn´t reveal changes in the constitution of constituent esters. The acid degumming was more efficient for the removal of undesirable substances, with significant variation (p < 0.05) for the peroxide index after this process. However, M. flexuosa oil presented good stability, keeping indexes acceptable in view of the current resolutions for its use.
Objetivo: analisar os candidatos in silico aos genes de interesse SERK, BBM e psbA e sua possível ocorrência em espécies do cerrado. Materiais e Métodos: foram testados três diferentes genes como forma de expansão dos estudos e para que fosse possível enquadrar qual gene continha mais sequências relacionadas às frutíferas do cerrado. Resultados: as sequências de interesse das frutíferas do cerrado encontradas e analisadas foram: Barbatimão (Stryphnodendron Mart.), Buriti (Mauritia flexuosa L.f.), Cagaita (Eugenia dysenterica [Mart.] DC.), Cajuzinho (Brysonima intermedia A. Juss.), Guaçatonga (Casearia syestris Sw.), Jenipapo (Genipa americana L.), Joá-bravo (Solanum viarum Dunal), Pau-terra (Qualea grandiflora Mart.), Pequi (Caryocar brasiliense Cambess.), todas identificadas com seus respectivos descritores botânicos. Conclusão: tal análise possibilitou a discussão e enfoque desta pesquisa subsidiando o desenvolvimento futuro de marcadores fisiológicos, histo-anatômicos e moleculares estádios-específicos, como estratégia para o estudo dos processos da embriogênese zigótica e somática, assim como organogênicos para espécies agronômicas e nativas.
Water is an essential natural resource for cell metabolism and the development of human society. Its availability, however, has been affected by the pollution to which it is subjected. In this question, there is the São Francisco watershed, which, although it has a unique economic and cultural role for the population of the semi-arid region, suffers the weight of anthropization, since it is exploited by agricultural activities and to drain urban and industrial effluents. To tell this, it is important to monitor the quality of its water and its tributaries, in order to implement an efficient management of this asset. That said, this research aims to evaluate the temporal trend of the behavior of the physicochemical attributes of water quality, between 2017 and 2021, in the stretch of the São Francisco river in Três Marias and in the tributaries Rio Abaeté, Formoso and De Janeiro. The data used for the analysis were produced by the Scientific Expedition Amigos das Águas and collected from the portal of the Water Supply and Sewage Service of Pirapora SAAE - MG. For statistical analysis, Sisvar was used, and the parameters evaluated were: aluminum, apparent color, iron, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, sedimentable solids, suspended solids and pH, in accordance with CONAMA n° 357/2005. The criteria evaluated are within the established limits. However, it is recommended to include the criterion of thermotolerant coliforms, in order to better ensure the viability of the water resource.
