Lipids and fatty acids (FA) composition of three Black Sea macroalgae Cladophora vagabunda,Ceramium rubrum and Cystoseira barbata were studied. Fatty acids composition was analyzed by GC/MS. Total lipids content varied widely among the species and ranged between 0.66 and 0.98 g per 100 g fresh weight. Generally, saturated fatty acids were major components (62-71%), with 16:0 as the most abundant saturate (41- 57%). Total polyunsaturated FAs and monounsaturated FAs ranged from 28% to 38%. The green alga Cladophora vagabunda showed higher C18 PUFAs contents than did C20 PUFAs while for red alga Ceramiumrubrum the trend was opposite. Cystoseira barbata belonging to the group of brown algae showed similar amounts of C18 and C20 PUFAs contents. Cladophora vagabunda was rich in linoleic acid and Ceramiumrubrum in arachidonic acid (AA) while Cystoseira barbata was rich in both linoleic acid and eicosopentaenoic acid. All of the studied species had a nutritionally beneficial n6/n3 ratio (1.24-2.84:1).
The purpose of the study was to examine teachers’ satisfaction with their professional activities. 272 teachers who have classes in physical education and sport in the Bulgarian school system participated in the research study. The teachers have different levels of professional qualification. A modified questionnaire was applied, with 22 items related to the satisfaction with the teaching profession. The statistical methods used for the research were: variance analysis, factor analysis (principal component analysis), non-parametric Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. The following four factors related to the satisfaction of the profession were identified: organization and professional environment, social working conditions, reforms in education, education and personal development. The items with highest values were: the duration of holidays, professional relations with colleagues, professional relations with the school management, and professional relations with parents. The items with lowest values were: the amount of the salary, the professional relations with the Ministry of education and science, the prestige of the profession, and the reforms in education. Factors related to the internal educational environment have the greatest impact on the satisfaction of the surveyed teachers.
The state of emergency, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, has completely changed the education system in Bulgaria, including the training of physical education and sports in Bulgarian schools. Physical education and sports training have been transformed into distance and online education and training. The aim of the research was to study the competencies of PE teachers in the country for the implementation of online teaching. The subject of the study was a total of 138 teachers, of whom 100 (72.5%) were female and 38 (27.5%) were male. The teachers were aged from 24 to 68 years old, with different pedagogical experience and were representatives of all regions of the country. A specially developed international questionnaire with closed questions was applied. Alternative analysis and chi-square Pearson's test (ײ) were used to analyze the results. The results show that the sampled teachers evaluated the current use of online education in physical education and sport as relatively good (47.1%). At the same time, the acquired results show that the educational activity of sports pedagogues during the pandemic has reduced their motivation for professional activity (43.5%). Teachers have rated as very good (29.7%) and good (45.7%) their competencies for using online technologies to conduct physical education and sports classes. The majority of them – 79%, actively applied the new technologies in the training process. No differences were found in the answers of the respondents to any of the questions on the criteria of gender, age and pedagogical experience.
In this paper 30 mollusc species were registered at Ismaros Mts. (N Greece) of which 21 species were new records to this island.
At present, due to significant attention of the employers in the IT sphere to key competencies of University graduates the system of professional communicative competence formation is required. This paper presents an overall design and implementation scheme of the course “Translation in the Field of Professional Communication” as an integral part of the cycle of disciplines in the area of “Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems”. The foreign language intersubject status is strengthened by the developed course. The paper focuses on basic components of this course providing integrity of educational process. Based on theoretical and practical approaches: study of psychological and pedagogical literature; analysis and synthesis of theoretical generalization of research results, comparison and interpretation of new facts and specific manifestations of the research subject, abstracting, questioning, testing, observation, pedagogic experiment and statistical data processing methods the efficiency of a proposed experimental training system was confirmed. Its positive influence on the level of acquisition of knowledge in the English language discipline and, correspondingly, on formation of the professional communicative competence of a software engineer and on development of positive motivation for professional activity was analysed. Besides, the development of positive motivation for the self-development of the personality and for the growth of interest in communication was described.
