El consumo adictivo de drogas en la actualidad obedece al impacto de la configuración cultural de la sociedad de consumo y a la transformación de instituciones que dejan a los jóvenes en el desamparo. Objetivo. Explorar y comprender la subjetividad en la trayectoria del consumo adictivo de Sustancias Psicoactivas (SPA). Método. Estudio cualitativo desde la Teoría Fundamentada, con un muestreo intencional para entrevistar a nueve jóvenes atendidos en dos Centros de Tratamiento del Estado de Veracruz (México) y reconstruir sus Historias de Vida y sus trayectorias adictivas, utilizando el principio de saturación. Resultados. Se identificaron seis categorías que marcaron la subjetividad: a) vivencias en el contexto familiar, b) condiciones del contexto social, c) lo que se busca y lo que se encuentra, d) llenar el vacío con SPA, e) experiencia en el consumo y f) trayectoria del consumo adictivo. Conclusiones. La subjetividad presente en el consumo adictivo de SPA implica una búsqueda constante de satisfacción para llenar el vacío emocional. El estudio de la experiencia subjetiva permitirá reorientar las estrategias de intervención, considerando la subjetividad del consumo adictivo actual y las condiciones sociales que la producen para una mayor comprensión de la génesis del consumo adictivo.
Objetivo. Identificar las principales barreras para la inserción social de mujeres que finalizaron un tratamiento residencial para el abuso y dependencia de alcohol y drogas.Metodología. Se llevó a cabo un estudio basado en entrevistas individuales, en profundidad y focalizadas, con diez mujeres atendidas en unidades hospitalarias de atención al consumo de drogas.Resultados. Entre las principales barreras identificados durante el proceso de reintegración se encontraron: 1) preocupación de ser objeto de estigmatización (con dos categorías: por transgresión de preceptos relativos al rol femenino y al rol materno), 2) problemas en las relaciones de pareja (con cuatro categorías: codependencia, ruptura, consumo en la pareja e insatisfacción) 3) problemas en el ejercicio del rol materno (pérdida del rol; dificultades en la recuperación del rol; y, embarazo y maternidad), 4) problemas relativos a la identidad (imagen corporal y uso de drogas; e identidad y uso de drogas), 5) deterioro de las relaciones familiares (pérdida de confianza y conflictos no resueltos); 6) inequidad en el apoyo social 7) libertad Vs. Control (pérdida de libertad; pautas de control familiar; e inserción laboral y autonomía).Conclusiones. Se corrobora la necesidad de desarrollar programas de seguimiento y reinserción diferenciados por género.
