This study aims to describe culture shock of students outside and inside Sumatra and examine the differences in student culture shock based on gender and region of origin. The study population was 2018 level 1 / class students at Padang State University who migrated to Padang from outside and inside West Sumatra with a sample of 300 students selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is "Inventory Culture Shock" (ICS) with a reliability of 0.74. The findings of the study show that culture shock of students from outside West Sumatra is classified as medium and originating from within West Sumatra is relatively low. Then, there was no difference in culture shock between students from outside and in West Sumatra. Beragam perguruan tinggi yang berada di Indonesia, namun tidak banyak Perguruan Tinggi yang menjadi favorit oleh calon mahasiswa. Berada pada Perguruan Tinggi favorit merupakan dambaan setiap siswa atau Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), SMK (Sekolah menengah kejuruan), dan MA (madrasah Aliyah) yang akan dan baru saja menyelesaikan pendidikannya. Banyak Alternatif pilihan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan mulai dari Perguruan Tinggi Negeri, Perguruan Tinggi Swasta, dan Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan. Mencapai dan mendapatkan kualitas pendidikan yang baik, banyak siswa lulusan SMA, SMK, dan MA yang rela menempuh pendidikan tinggi di luar daerah asalnya dengan kata lain mereka memilih merantau untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang lebih baik. Masyarakat menganggap bahwa Perguruan Tinggi atau Universitas di kota memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik, jika dibandingkan Universitas yang berada di tempat asal mereka (Muharomi, 2012).Budaya sangat erat kaitanya dengan pendidikan, orang yang dibesarkan dalam budaya tertentu akan belajar sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhkan budaya tersebut. Indonesia terdiri dari 34 provinsi mempunyai budaya yang sangat berbeda satu dengan yang lainnya. Jadi, walaupun manusia secara biologis sama, namun karena pengalaman budaya mereka secara sosial, mereka tumbuh menjadi berbeda berbeda, seperti orang yang didik dalam latar belakang budaya Papua akan berbeda dengan orang yang di didik dengan latar belakang Jawa. Pendidikan budaya tersebut dapat di wakili oleh sekolah yang mewakili salah satu dari pengalaman penting tersebut. Sekolah menjadi sebuah konteks di mana baik proses sosialisasi maupun pembelajaran terjadi. This study analyzes the condition of stress and anxiety in late adulthood in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic based on demographics. The research used quantitative methods with an online survey by survey monkey program involved 669 respondents based on twelve ethnicities in Indonesia. The data of this research analysis by the Rasch analysis model. The results showed generally experienced stress and anxiety in the moderate category although some respondents also experienced stress and anxiety in mild and severe categories, and only a small proportion was in the normal category. The need for continued treatment requires counselors, psychologists, and other relevant therapists.
Learning activities are a learning effort by students in physical, mental, intellectual, and emotional aspects from the to hard observed activities that happened inside or outside the classroom. This study describes students learning activities that will impact on student learning outcomes. The method used is descriptive-analysis with a 167 students sample that using proportional random sampling technique, used a questionnaire . The instrument used is a questionnaire. The result of the research is it includes the students learning activities in Junior High school in the medium category which comprises learning activities before learning in school, learning during school, and after learning in school. The implications of this research can be a reference and input for Counselor to improve students learning activities at 19 Junior High school in Bandung.
<p class="Abstrak">Aggressive behavior is a negative action that is intentionally done by individuals who try to hurt others both physically and verbally. There are many factors that influence adolescent aggression, ridicule, conflict in the family, unfavorable school environment, audio-visual media that show scenes of violence and individual perceptions of the environment. This aggressive behavior will affect the lives of individuals themselves and others. Based on this, guidance and counseling is very important to reduce the aggressive behavior of students. One of the guidance and counseling services that can be given group guidance by asking for rational emotive behavior (REBT). With this service, students are expected to behave positively according to applicable norms and not harm others.</p>
