This is a methodological research, which aimed to determine the validity of an educational technology (ET) in the form of educational game of medicine administration, according to the judges and audience, using the theoretical stage of Pasquali model. Data were collected between September 2011 and May 2012 in two stages: 1) application and validation of TE by forty students of the 4th period of Nursing, at the Fluminense Federal University (target audience); 2) observation and validation of TE by 8 teachers (judges). The questionnaires were organized in Likert scale, with items distributed in blocks and analyzed quantitatively. The game was validated, since it has over 80% approval by the two groups, and may therefore be used as a TE in the discipline of Fundamentals of Nursing. The results were positive, demonstrating that students and teachers are more interested in content taught when most dynamic technologies are used in the classroom.
The needs of these caregivers refer to their training and information on aging. The difficulties highlighted are deterrents to quality assistance to older adults, such as: insufficient resources, environmental factor and relationship with the family. The interests are evident in relation to the care and to its more subjective relationship. Final considerations: Educational technologies, printed matter and media, developed along with the caregivers, contribute to orientation and information of caregiver, population and professionals as facilitating instruments, regarding elderly care.
The aim of this study was to diagnose the priority socio environmental problems and the health risks from the surrounding communities the Petrochemical Complex of Rio de Janeiro. Characterized by a participatory approach, the action research has led to the application of interviews, focal groups, meetings and workshop with social actors of Porto das Caixas and Sambaetiba districts, located in Itaboraí city/RJ from November 2013 to December 2014. A structural analysis of the problems prioritized by the communities (water supply, sewage treatment and risk of transmissible diseases; risk of air pollution and respiratory diseases; absence of public security and risk of violence) sketched out the cause-effect-intervention relationship, on the basis of the Protocol for Assessing Community Excellence in Environmental Health. The process revealed the absence of representativity of the social actors of the studied localities in spaces of decision-making on the environmental issue. Educational actions with professionals and inhabitants that aim to promote the formation of collective movements urge, indispensable to guarantee the rights of mitigation of situations of contamination of air and access to sanitation services and public security and thus of conditions of lower risk to health.

Objective: To identify essential elements in care practices for the Homeless Persons in the context of Primary Health Care and verify evidence and strength of recommendation for health decision-making. Method: Integrative literature review, using Health Descriptors, keywords and "MeSH terms" in the databases: LILACS, PubMed Centre and Web of Science. Results: Twenty-two scientific papers were selected and grouped into three categories: Understanding of the Other, Support Network and Emancipatory Care. The study identified important elements for the development of care, such as understanding Homeless Persons, valuing network care and Emancipatory Care. Conclusion: There was a need for further studies and research on the subject, which would make it possible to construct more equitable and inclusive health policies and actions for this population that needs very unique elements in care practices.
Objectives: to analyze the integrated community therapy model for the empowerment of people living with fi bromyalgia and discuss the impact of this interdisciplinary intervention in the health-disease process and self-care. Method: a participatoryapproach qualitative study, developed in 2015 with 11 participants at the Laboratory of Physiology Applied to Physical Education of the Rio de Janeiro State University, RJ. Data production comprised World Café, participant observation and semi-structured interview. The analysis was performed according to Bardin, through data triangulation in dialogue with the relevant literature. Results: the integrated community therapy group is a driving force in building and expanding knowledge about fi bromyalgia and in self-care empowerment. Conclusion: this group strategy proved to be an interdisciplinary praxis tool that enables the development of solidary care networks. Thus, shared knowledge was generated, transformed into a listening and refl ection environment to manage personal and family obstacles. Descriptors: Nursing; Chronic Diseases; Group Therapy; Fibromyalgia; Qualitative Analysis. A produção de dados abrangeu o World Café, a observação participante e entrevista semiestruturada.
Objectives: to discuss challenges and possibilities for the construction of Environmental Health emancipatory care practices by the nurse. Methods: reflective analysis based on conceptual, theoretical, and methodological aspects of nursing care, under the emancipatory and critical perspective. Results: contemporary environmental issues involve complex determinants of the health-disease process. This fact requires the accomplishment of educative actions that encourage the change of environmental attitudes related to health-risk situations. In this sense, there are significant demands for emancipatory practices of primary care in Environmental Health by nurses, which need to be systematized by health and education institutions. Final considerations: the nurse, as an educator and social actor, should offer emancipatory practices of risk management, empowerment, and shared social and environmental responsibility, with a view to recovering an ecological well-being and social transformation, to improve environmental quality and human life.
