Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma proposta de avaliação dos intangíveis, implementada no capital humano (CH). O desenvolvimento desta proposta resultou na criação de uma medida quantitativa, a Escala de Medida do Desempenho nos Intangíveis (EMDI), determinada com os modelos matemáticos da Teoria da Resposta ao Item (TRI) para o construto definido como o desempenho das organizações nos intangíveis. O conjunto de itens produzido aborda o CH, com ênfase no processo de desenvolvimento, especificamente nas atividades de treinamento, desenvolvimento, educação e planejamento/avaliação. Os dados levantados junto a uma amostra de 203 empresas associadas à Federação de Indústrias de Santa Catarina (FIESC) permitiram estabelecer a EMDI com quatro níveis interpretados para o CH, fornecendo novos conhecimentos tanto sobre os intangíveis quanto sobre o desempenho das empresas.
A presente pesquisa buscou investigar, por meio de um modelo de regressão logístico, como determinados fatores podem contribuir para a ocorrência de acidentes fatais em rodovias federais do estado de Santa Catarina - Brasil. Para tal, foram utilizados dados públicos da Polícia Rodoviária Federal sobre acidentes ocorridos no período de 2007 a 2018. O modelo logístico final permitiu estabelecer a razão de chances das principais categorias dentro das variáveis condição meteorológica, fases do dia, causas do acidente, tipo de acidente e traçado da via. Fatores como colisão frontal, atropelamento, amanhecer, causa viária/ambiental e condições ensolaradas foram os mais representativos nesse contexto. Elementos associados à falta de canteiros centrais e passarelas para pedestres, baixa visibilidade durante a condução e fadiga ao volante foram grandes contribuintes para o aumento da gravidade das colisões. As maiores razões de chances para os fatores viário/ambiental e condição ensolarada foram considerados resultados inesperados, indo de encontro à premissa de que o fator humano e condições de pista molhada contribuem mais significativamente para a ocorrência de óbitos. A falta de informações sobre a condição da pista no momento do acidente, o volume de tráfego das rodovias e o tipo de veículo foram fatores limitantes para o estudo.
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a presença de componente sazonal na demanda de energia elétrica no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, considerando as três principais classes consumidoras: residencial, comercial e industrial. Utilizando dados mensais de janeiro de 2004 até dezembro de 2019, foram aplicadas algumas técnicas gráficas e analíticas de estatística clássica, tais como: gráficos em linhas e de caixa e medidas descritivas, além de Análise de Variância paramétrica e não paramétrica para dados pareados. Nas três séries temporais verificou-se presença de sazonalidade, sendo pertinente escolher modelos que considerem essa componente na sua modelagem.
No presente artigo são analisados alguns fatores relacionados a mobilidade urbana sustentável, tais como: estrutura cicloviária, arborização e urbanização de vias públicas e calçadas. O objetivo principal do estudo é analisar estatisticamente a relação entre as viagens diárias realizadas nos modais de transporte coletivo (TC), transporte individual (TI) e transporte não motorizado (TNM). A base de dados é referente algumas das capitais brasileiras. Com a utilização do software R obtêm-se resultados que auxiliam os gestores na proposição de alternativas para mobilidade urbana mais sustentável. Mostrando o comportamento nas preferências modais conforme o porte das cidades e qual a correlação destes valores com capitais brasileiras, com posterior análise de fatores atrelados a mobilidade urbana sustentável, analisadas de maneira individual em capitais e de maneira conjunta conforme as regiões do Brasil.
