Haegeman (2012) observa que, em orações condicionais centrais em inglês, não pode haver topicalização de argumento. Em sua análise, a autora propõe que o movimento do argumento para a periferia da sentença bloqueia o alçamento do operador condicional de TP para CP. Em português, diferentemente do inglês, é possível o fronteamento de argumentos. Para explicar essa diferença, propomos que, em português, quando há fronteamento de argumento em orações condicionais, o elemento fronteado é um constituinte gerado diretamente na periferia à esquerda. Nossa proposta é que tais sintagmas deslocados são retomados por um pronome visível ou nulo, tendo em vista o fato de o português ser uma língua de objeto nulo (CYRINO, 1994). Nesse sentido, as construções de fronteamento em orações condicionais do português brasileiro são, portanto, estruturas com deslocamento à esquerda clítica (Clitic Left Dislocation - CLLD), já que não houve movimento do elemento fronteado. O fato de não haver movimento sintático do argumento topicalizado tornaria possível o alçamento do operador condicional para o sistema CP.
Este artigo descreve os padrões de codificação de construções adverbiais reduzidas de infinitivo e introduzidas pela preposição para [PARA + VINF]. Para tanto, utiliza-se os dados dos trabalhos de Autora1 e Autora2 (2017; 2018), nos quais identificaram-se, em um conjunto de 52 textos jornalísticos, 80 construções de sentenças finais e 246 construções de sentenças sobrepostas, id est, com sobreposição de traços de finalidade e de causa. Indo de encontro à visão da gramática tradicional, que assume que as construções [PARA + VINF] são prototípicas apenas de finalidade, observou-se uma estreita relação entre a finalidade e a causa. Relação essa que deriva de seus próprios aspectos semânticos incrustrados: motivo, razão, porquê, propósito ou intenção para o que foi expresso na oração principal. Em consonância com os pressupostos de Bakhtin (1992; 1997), Castilho (2016), Dias (2001), Rodríguez (1999), Perini (2010), entre outros, almeja-se refletir acerca do uso dessas ocorrências e de seus propósitos comunicativos. Por fim, a partir dos dados levantados e considerando que a língua é um sistema complexo, corrente, em ininterrupta volubilidade, considera-se uma possível recategorização semântica das construções de sentenças finais, em termos de subcategorias, sob à ótica do processo de gradação ou encadeamento semântico (cf. Autora1 e Autora2, 2018).
Com base na abordagem funcionalista, Neves (2011) declara que, nas construções condicionais, pode ocorrer elipse da oração principal, ficando a cargo do interlocutor o preenchimento do conteúdo emoldurado. Partindo dos pressupostos de Neves (2011), de que as construções temporais apresentam particularidades similares às das condicionais, este estudo teve como objetivo, a priori, mostrar que, nas construções temporais, a oração subordinada adverbial temporal também pode vir “isolada”, isto é, sem a presença explícita da oração nuclear, principalmente em situações interativas incutidas pela multimodalidade, como ocorre nos memes (Santos, 2018). Posteriormente, o estudo se encarregou de evidenciar o tipo de relação lógico-semântica existente entre a oração adverbial temporal e a imagem. Para tais intentos, 50 memes foram investigados, mas, neste trabalho, são apresentados apenas 6, que, de uma forma geral, ilustram todos os resultados obtidos. A análise constatou que o imbricamento das dimensões verbo-visuais nos memes possibilita a elipse da oração principal em construções temporais, posto que a oração subordinada temporal isolada tem o seu sentido completado (e vice-versa) pela imagem que, nesses casos, representa o conteúdo da oração principal omitida. Ademais, percebeu-se uma relação lógico-semântica temporal com sentido condicional factual em todos os memes analisados.
Este trabalho busca traçar um mapa processual do verbo “lacrar” em português, já que diversos aspectos sócio-históricos fizeram com que fossem acrescidas novas semânticas a esse verbo. Ao se considerar a língua como um sistema complexo, dinâmico e processual por natureza, adota-se uma abordagem multissistêmica (cf. CASTILHO, 2016) para se fazer um estudo pancrônico, em que se vê o dispositivo sociocognitivo (DSC) afetando todos os sistemas linguísticos (discursivo, semântico, lexical, gramatical). A priori, “lacrar”, em seu sentido denotativo, significava apenas o ato de fechar/selar produtos, objetos e lugares, como em: (i) Operação lacra cinco agências. Com o advento das novas tecnologias, “lacrar” passou por um processo de semanticização, fazendo com que, hoje, se possa interpretar esse verbo como sinônimo de “arrasar”/“ir bem em algo”, como pode ser visto em: (ii) Khloé lacrou com look dourado. Por ser um verbo, “lacrar” permaneceu com suas flexões originais. Contudo, o número de ocorrências com a 1a pessoa (singular ou plural) aparenta ser menor do que com a 3a (ele/ela), o que indica um processo de gramaticalização, já que uma das formas se sobressai. Ademais, discute-se o processo de lexicalização no verbo “lacrar”, dado que novas palavras foram surgindo por derivação, como é o caso do substantivo “lacração” e do adjetivo “lacrador(a)”. Por fim, questiona-se ainda o processo de discursivização atuante nessa expressão, já que ela parece ser mais utilizada para encerramento dos turnos e dos discursos, podendo operar, portanto, como um marcador discursivo de encerramento.
