The rates of mortality from esophageal cancer are analyzed by statistical methods and by spatial econometrics. A study is carried out of the features of the spatial distribution of the rates of mortality from esophageal cancer. It allows us to determine more and less epidemiologically affected regions and to carry out more detailed studies on the link between the mortality rates from esophageal cancer and various factors, such as the environmental situation, socio-demographic characteristics of the population, culture and nature of nutrition, the general health status of the population, the availability of resources and the level of healthcare in the region. By means of the multifactor regression model we forecast the rates of mortality from esophageal cancer, taking into account characteristics of the countries, the dynamics of the number of patients with diseases of the esophagus and the general time trend.
There has been shown the natural nidus tickal encephalus West Nile and Syndbys fever existance in the Kuibyshev reservoir island systems and Grippotiphyis, Pomon and Gebdomadys serodroups as well. The additional data about wide expansion of nidus GLPS on the islands and rabbit-feber, infection currency sporadical character in the small mammalians populations is recieved.

Background. During the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more patients need rehabilitation. The purpose of the study is to determine the basic principles of patient rehabilitation at different periods of COVID-19. Materials and methods. The research materials were international literary sources (15 items), international normative documents (3 items). The bibliosemantic method of research, methods of systems approach and content analysis were used. Results. Today, countries around the world are in various stages of a pandemic, and many countries are entering a post-COVID-19 phase. People who suffer from the effects of this disease may face long-term disability and disability. The extent and duration of possible functional impairment and disability are still unknown, but it is clear that these patients will need rehabilitation during all periods of the disease. Persistent symptoms are common with COVID-19, including shortness of breath, chest pain and cough. Physical, psychological (eg, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder) and cognitive (eg, memory and concentration impairment) symptoms may occur in some cases. Surveillance focuses on identifying and treating acute complications in the early period of COVID-19, while follow-up focuses on evaluating and treating persistent symptoms. Conclusions. The significant duration of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in the number of people requiring rehabilitation. Some aspects of convalescence may be unique to COVID-19, but are in many ways similar to those found in other infectious and non-infectious diseases.
The paper presents the history of the study of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) at the Kazan Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology from the beginning of the 50s to the present. The accumulated information allows to draw up general conceptions about the main source of infection, the biological structure of natural foci of infection, nosoarea and the main clinical forms of the disease, the nature and seasonality of the disease, the sex and age composition of patients, and the types of natural foci of HFRS. The stages of improving the methods of laboratory diagnosis of HFRS, development of a specific immunoglobulin against the serum of the Puumala virus are described. A significant contribution to the study of HFRS was the landscape-epidemiological ranking of the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Middle Volga endemic for HFRS, with the identification of zones of special risk of human infection and the main factors that form them. At present, a reference center for monitoring HFRS has been created based on the Kazan Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, and the study of the properties of HFRS pathogens at the current molecular-genetic level continues.
The complex research of ecological situation near the automobile bridge across the Volga river showed the serious ecological tension after the solid dam construction. The negative tendencies will progress without corresponding measures. The economical damage as the result of biological resources lost will be about 280 mln. rubles (according to 1991 year data).
Presented are the results of 4-years investigation in shallows of the rivers Mjosha and Kama. The sources and distribution of heavy metals in water, bottom deposits, plants, fito- and zooplankton, invertabrates, fishes and amphibians are discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
