Considering the natural resources, ancient value, and cultural components, Sri Lanka has been recognized as one of the main tourism destinations in the world. Because Sri Lanka have already proved that the best place to obtain a superior experience. According to the current situation in tourism sector has been influences by this pandemic and post situation highly. Parties in the tourism sector are facing several difficulties to aligned with this new normal situation. At the same time, countries that are gaining several competitive advantages from the tourism sector have adopted the wellness tourism concept especially other Asian countries namely, India. Because it is a timely concept to win this modern business era, this study explored to provide a critical evaluation of literature on the wellness tourism and the possibility of appalling this concept into the Sri Lankan context. A rigorous literature review is carried out by choosing conceptual and empirical papers mostly published after 2015 in reputed journals to evaluate the wellness tourism concept discussed by many authors critically. The study presented in this paper evaluates the self-reported effectiveness of online classes followed by Sri Lankan undergraduates during the COVID-19 pandemic, to identify difficulties/conveniences of virtual learning as experienced by the learner, using the survey method as the strategy of inquiry. 342 responses were collected from the undergraduate population in Sri Lanka using a pre-tested and structured questionnaire, the analysis of which, suggested that undergraduates have a general dissatisfaction with various components of online teaching, even though they are introduced to combat the pandemic situation. The Kruskal -Wallis test is used in this study to investigate the differences in the measures of the effectiveness of virtual education through the year of Undergraduates. The study could aid in obtaining an analytical perspective from the point of view of the learner in strategizing remedial actions and also in improving the overall involvement of technology and the internet in the education industry of the country.
In 21 century, the fourth industrial revolution has influenced the way that modern business is continuing. These days' Supply Chain Management (SCM) is playing a vital role and higher completive area. Therefore, worth exploring how techniques of Industry 4.0 utilization in the process of supply chain & the role of Industry 4.0 on achieving strategic objectives of SCM. The study presented in this paper reviews recent literature in Industry 4.0 and SCM to link the effects of Industry 4.0 on strategic objectives of supply chain management. Within this study, 30 different articles based on the study area were reviewed, through which the aspects of quality improvement, the efficiency of supply chains, optimization of logistics & distribution are found to be heavily impacted due to the developments of industry 4.0. The findings of this study explored that quality improvement, the efficiency of supply chains, transport, and logistics are heavily impacted due to the developments of industry 4.0 concepts within supply chains in the modern age. After achieving objectives of quality enhancement and optimization of logistics and distribution, it will lead to achieve the third objective of efficiency. Further, using the proposed model of this study indicated the linkage between the strategic objective of the supply chain in the industry 4.0 era. Future research suggested to consider other strategic objectives such as the leadership of SCM. And conduct the study concerning specific industries such as apparel, fast food.
