The purpose of this study is to find out the total income and expenditure of farmers' households, to know the proportion of food expenditure to the total expenditure of farmers' households, to know the energy and protein consumption of farmers' households, and to find out the condition of food security of farmers' households in Gunungmanik Village based on indicators of the proportion of food expenditure and energy consumption levels. This research uses descriptive analytical methods. Technical research used is research survey. Based on the results of the study obtained information that the average household income of farmers in Gunungmanik Village is Rp 3,159,598.04 obtained from agricultural business income of Rp 2,009,589.00 (63.61%) and from outside the farm business income of Rp 1,150,000.00 (36.39%). The average expenditure on food is Rp 1.364.284,28 per month and non-food expenditure is Rp 919.413,42 per month. The average proportion of food expenditure to total expenditure is 59,74%. The average energy consumption of farmers' households in Gunungmanik Village is 1,159.68 kkaal/ person/day, while the average energy consumption rate is 54.81%. The food security conditions of farmers' households in Gunungmanik Village based on their levels are food resistant by 1,37%, food vulnerable by 2,73%, lack of food by 24,65% and food insecurity by 71,23%.
This study aims to determine how Waaida Farm manages agro-tourism and to measure the impact of agro-tourism from the empowerment of the surrounding farmer's community. The Farm is located in Sumedang Regency and has natural potentials in agriculture and tourism which offers a unique experience. The concept of agro-tourism offers a medium for education, culture, promotion of local products, social, economic growth and community empowerment. With the existence of the Farm, the characteristics of the community have changed positively. The research method used is the case study and primary data were obtained from 30 farmers who work at agro-tourism. From the results of the paired t-student difference test ( Paired Sample T Test ) it can be concluded that Agro-tourism has a positive impact on the empowerment of the surrounding community not only from increasing participation, but also independence and accessibility for farmers community.Keywords: Agro-tourism, Community Empowerment
The purpose of this study was to determine the form of channels, functions, and marketing efficiency of Arabica Coffee. Knowing an efficient marketing channel makes it easy for farmers to choose coffee marketing channels in order to obtain a more rational selling price. The research method used is a survey method with qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis approaches. The location selection was done purposively with consideration in Sindangkerta Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency, there are two types of Arabica Coffee cultivated by farmers, namely Arabica Coffee and Geographical Indications. Based on the research results, it can be revealed that there are four Arabica Coffee marketing channels: Two Geo- and two non Geo-graphical Indications marketing channels, respectively. In terms of efficiency, channel I in Arabica Coffee marketing is the most efficient geographical indication, because the lowest total Margin value is 69,700, the highest value of marketing efficiency is 2.88 and the Farmer’s Share value is greatest at 10%.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential fisheries sub-sector to be developed in order to increase GRDP, in Sukabumi, West Java. Secondary data were obtained from BPS and related agencies, then analyzed using Local Quotient (LQ), Klasen Typology, and linear regression. The results showed that the order of potential to be developed was the ornamental fish cultivation sector, the second was the fishery product processing sector, the third was the fish hatchery sector and the fourth was the fish rearing sector. Based on the LQ value, the fishery product processing sector is the base sector with a source of raw materials for capture and freshwater aquaculture. The results of the regression analysis show that all fisheries sub-sectors contribute to regional income, starting from hatcheries, rearing, processing and production of ornamental fish
This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and brand image on the purchase of broiler chicken meat.This research is a verification research using a survey method to consumers in Sukabumi City as the unit of analysis. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire with a sample of 100 people. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and path analysis.The results of the partial study of product quality did not have a significant effect on the purchase of broiler chicken meat and brand image partially had a significant effect on the purchase of broiler chicken meat. Meanwhile, simultaneously product quality and brand image have a significant effect on the purchase of broiler chicken meat, with the level of influence can be seen from the hypothesis test, where the R square variable of 58.5% is influenced by this variable and 41.8% is influenced by other variables that are not explained. in this research.
