In the era of progressively more competitive industrial competition, especially in the manufacturing world, it is always required to develop the quality or quality of products and productivity. Each company is compete to win market share. One of the strategies carried out by the company is improving the quality of products and the production process conducted by the company. In the industrial world, product quality and productivity are the keys for success of the production process. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze data for defective products at PT Mane Indonesia with the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Naïve Bayes Classifier method. The accuracy results using the Naïve Bayes algorithm get a value of 84.38% and an AUC value of 0.953. The results of the PSO-based Naïve Bayes algorithm get a value of 88.62% and AUC value of 0.945. Based on the research which has been performed by using Naïve Bayes based on PSO, it developed a contribution rate of 5,02% in predicting the defected products.
Production machines are the most important part of a production system. Machines need effective and efficient maintenance to be able to guarantee and support the production process to run well. The steel industry is an industry that produces various types and shapes of steel with one of the machines being Computer Numerical Control (CNC) type BT-A16. These machines often have problems such as downtime that interfere with the production experience. The purpose of this research is to find out the problems in the CNC BT-A16 production machine and provide recommendations for improvements to improve machine performance or Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The approach used is Total Productive Maintenance by calculating the OEE value. Problem analysis was carried out through Focus Group Discussion with expert judgment when determining the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) analysis. Research findings indicate that the cause of the engine is not optimal comes from abnormal heat in the gearbox and machine spindle components caused by operator error when inputting data. The definite improvement is making a special schedule for maintenance, checking all maintenance schedules, and conducting training to increase knowledge and skills. The results of the corrective action show an increase in the OEE value from 70.8% to 79.9% or an increase of 9.1%, so the increase in the OEE value will increase the efficiency of the BT-A16 CNC lathe.
ABSTRAKSalah satu proses yang tidak dapat dilewatkan untuk membuat genteng keramik adalah proses pembakaran. Proses pembakaran genteng keramik di PT XYZ menggunakan tunnel kiln dengan bahan bakar LNG. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efisiensi panas atau energi pada tunnel kiln dengan terlebih dahulu menghitung neraca massa masuk dan keluar serta menghitung neraca energi masuk dan keluar. Panas masuk meliputi panas hasil pembakaran bahan bakar LNG, panas sensibel bahan bakar LNG, panas kereta masuk, panas sensibel greentile. Sedangkan untuk panas keluar meliputi panas yang terbawa oleh panas sensibel genteng keramik, panas sensibel kereta kiln, panas penguapan air dan air kristal, panas hilang akibat udara pendingin, panas hasil reaksi pembakaran, panas akibat perpindahan panas, panas keluar untuk dryer dan panas keluar chimney tunnel kiln. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data-data pendukung diantaranya adalah volume gas LNG yang digunakan, komposisi material genteng, komposisi bagian dari tunnel kiln seperti kereta kiln, dan kapasitas panas untuk masing-masing komponen tersebut.Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukandidapatkan nilai yang seimbang antara panas masuk dan panas keluar yaitu 14.174.025 kkal/hari. Efisiensi bahan bakar LNG dihitung dengan perbandingan antara panas yang dihasilkan dari bahan bakar dengan kebutuhan panas yang digunakan untuk satu hari proses pembakaran genteng keramik. The automotive industry is a mainstay because it has a contribution to the national economy. To maintain existence and survive in the midst of intense competition, every industry must be able to continuously improve the quality and performance company in general. Plastic injection manufacturing companies for automotive components are experiencing a decline in machine performance. Machine performance is related to losses that occur in the company. To find out the cause of a decline in machine performance, research is carried out by identifying processes, outputs, losses that occur and taking other actions if needed. Results of OEE calculation analysis, machine 7 has the lowest performance of a total of 8 machines. Low OEE value is influenced by availability, performance, and quality, of three components, the lowest average availability value is only 90%, machine 7 OEE is 81%. Factors affecting OEE are low because the value of availability is low. After analyzing with fishbone diagram, the cause of low availability is due to machine and method factors. Improvement to machine 7 using the SMED method showed a decrease in setup time by 36%, while improvements were made by changing setup flow, replacing machine components, and purging process. Impact of improvements increased availability by 96%, performance, and quality by 99%, while machine efficiency/OEE increased by 93,98%.
Abstrak: Kabupaten Bekasi merupakan kabupaten yang mengalami musibah banjir pada Sabtu, 20 Februari 2021, musibah ini telah melanda 17 kecamatan dan 40 desa dengan ketinggian air antara 40 – 150 sentimeter. Hal ini disebabkan karena intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi, meluapnya beberapa aliran sungai sebagai akibat dari berkurangnya lahan hijau dan meningkatnya pembangunan. Dampak negatif pasca banjir adalah kotornya rumah warga akibat lumpur yang harus segera dibersihkan, beberapa kerugian material dan munculnya beberapa penyakit akibat banjir yaitu penyakit kulit dan diare. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ( PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan pelayanan medis dan obat-obatan kepada warga yang terdampak banjir. Kegiatan PkM ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil PkM menunjukkan sebanyak 12,18% warga yang berobat dengan keluhan penyakit kulit dan diare; batuk flu sebanyak 35,90%; darah tinggi sebanyak 11,54% ; diabetes, asam urat dan kolesterol sebanyak 27,56% dan lain-lain sebanyak 12,82%. Dampak positif dari PkM ini yaitu terlaksananya program pelayanan medis dan bantuan obat-obatan yang dapat membantu meringankan beban ekonomi warga dalam melakukan pengobatan gratis, kemudahan akses dan pelayanan yang baik dari petugas yang ramah.Abstract: Bekasi Regency is a district that experienced floods on Saturday, February 20, 2021, this disaster hit 17 sub-districts and 40 villages with air altitudes between 40-150 centimeters. This is due to high rainfall, excessive rainfall, multiple river flows as a result of reduced green land and development. negative post-flood are residents' houses due to mud that must be cleaned immediately, some material losses and the emergence of several diseases due to flooding, namely skin diseases and diarrhea. This community service activity (PKM) aims to provide medical services and medicines to residents in the form of floods. This PkM activity is divided into 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The results of the PkM show that as many as 12.18% of residents who seek treatment with complaints of skin diseases and diarrhea; cough flu as much as 35.90%; high blood pressure as much as 11.54%; diabetes, uric acid and cholesterol as much as 27.56% and others as much as 12.82%. The positive impact of this PkM is the implementation of a medical service program and medical assistance that can help ease the economic burden of residents in providing free treatment, easy access and good service from friendly officers.
