This study aims to produce product findings from the activity development program for students’ problem solving abilities based on information and communication technology. The method used in this research is research and development methods. The stages of program development are survey, planning, validation, and socialization. The research subjects were students of Medan State University. The activity development program for students’ problem solving abilities based on information and communication technology has not yet considered the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities. The final product of this research is a valid program about the ability to solve problems based on information and communication technology.
Abstract-This research is a continuation of previous research. The result of previous research was character education model in Unimed. This research studied about the effectiveness of the model. Validity of components of the character education model including accompanying instruments for data gathering were evaluated before evaluating the effectiveness of the model. Research method used in this research was descriptive method. The result of this study showed that the character education model from previous research are needed to be revised.
There is a pest of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) with the most common cases being onion caterpillars and purple spot which must be controlled to get good yields. This study aims to determine the properties of the stability of the model by examining the stability analysis by determining the model equation, equilibrium point, basic reproduction number, analysis of the equilibrium point by linearization of the Jacobian matrix to obtain eigenvalues and stability properties. The simulation shows the effect of pesticide treatment using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method and the Matlab program. There are two equilibrium points: (1) Point (E0) free of pests and diseases is stable if R0 < 1. (2) Endemic point (E1) is stable if R0 > 1. The simulation shows that the greater the pesticide treatment, the faster the susceptible population and infected decreased, the faster the recovering population has increased.
This research examines the issues of (1) how's the perceptions of students about the activities implementation policy on Internship program 1 and 2, at Unimed (2) How's the learning commitment of FIP college students of Unimed, and (3) contribution analysis of implementation policy on Internship activities 1 and 2 against College Student Learning Commitment FIP Unimed.This research was carried out in the Faculty of Education (FIP) Unimed for 645 college students all over the 2016/2017 academic year that have been doing Internship Program 1 and 2 in the sample unit of education as research population, and the research has been specified using random sampling technique as many as 141 students. This research data collected with the use of a questionnaire instrument with Likert Scale patterns and student learning outcomes in the form of Grade Point Average (GPA). This research data is processed by using the descriptive correlation technique, by performing a test of its homogeneity and normality of variables, test requirements analysis, and test the hypothesis by using t test. The findings of this research are expected to be signaled that the internship activities 1 and 2 have a pretty mean benefits against the formation of student learning commitment so that it can develop the right learning motivation in achieving maximal activity success on lecture.
Curah hujan adalah salah satu faktor penting pada banyak sektor, seperti salah satunya yaitu pada bidang perkebunan. Tinggi-rendahnya curah hujan mempengaruhi proses perawatan hingga masa panen dalam sektor ini. Maka itu butuh mengketahui kapan saat yang benar untuk melakukan perawatan agar tidak mengalami kerugian. Diperlukan peramalan untuk menentukan waktu yang tepat. Analisis yang dipergunakan pada observasi ini merupakan Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing. Hasil observasi menggunakan model terbaik ditentukan dengan besarnya nilai MAPE, dengan model Additive () menunjukkan nilai MAPE sebesar 0,3271700 sebagai model yang terbaik, MAPE dapat menjadi alat ukur untuk menentukan model terbaik, karena jika nilai MAPE semakin kecil maka semakin baik pula sebuah model. Dari hasil peramalan tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa intensitas hujan yang lemah berada saat bulan juni, juli hingga september disetiap tahunnya, pada saat itu para petani dapat melakukan perawatan pada tanaman sawit.
