ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Review study that aimed at analyzing the nursing scientific production about varicose ulcer in the period from 2002 to 2007. For the data collection it was used Medline and LILACS databases. Twenty-five materials were found in seven national and international journals. It was demonstrated that scientific production approach several issues and there is a need for studies on the humanistic issues. It was concluded that the care of varocose ulcers is expressed in some aspects in nursing research, but that the matter is still poorly researched and that there is little qualitative research that address this content. Para el levantamiento de artículos fueron consultados periódicos de enfermería indexados en las basis de datos Medline y LILACS. Fueron encontrados 25 artículos en siete periódicos nacionales e internacionales. Verificamos que la producción científica versa sobre diversos aspectos, habiendo necesidad de estudios sobre las cuestiones humanísticas. Esse é fator bastante relevante ao se atentar para o fato de que a incidência de úlcera venosa proporciona-se com o avançar da idade. Vários estudos apontam para um aumento crescente do envelhecimento populacional brasileiro (3) . Embora os dados brasileiros sejam pouco precisos, alguns autores estimam que quase 3% da população nacional são portadores desse tipo de lesão que se eleva para 10% nas pessoas com diabetes e que em torno de quatro milhões de pessoas sejam portadoras de lesões crônicas ou tenham algum tipo de complicação no processo de cicatrização, o que requer dos profissionais não só maiores conhecimentos como também preparo para lidar com o problema (4) . A úlcera venosa (UV), lesão crônica de perna, de elevada incidência clínica, traz não só sofrimento físico ao paciente, como o impede de trabalhar, pois, a lesão permanece, muitas vezes, aberta por meses ou anos, causando problemas socioeconômicos, tanto para seu portador como para as organizações de saúde e sociedade (5) . This study aimed to identify the nursing care practices to the client with hypertension in the scientific production in the last ten years. It was carried out a bibliographic study, using in the BIREME, the LILACS, SciELO and BDENF's data basis, selecting thirty articles. The results were exposed in charts, tables and graphics, where prevails, in the literature analyzed, the nursing consultation as the more used practice, through the nursing attendance systematization and the Health Education with individual approaches, besides the realization of home visits with family approach. One believes that the systematization of nursing care will contribute in an expressive manner to the adhesion to the antihypertensive treatment.
The research aimed to describe the features of a given population studied, as civil state, occupation and number of pre-natal appointments; to verify the incidence of cesarean section and normal labor in clients attended in an institution; to compare these occurrence in the period of research, discussing the indications of cesarean sections more frequently referred. It is a descriptive-retrospective study based upon patient records from a philanthropic institution of the National Health System. It highlighted a rising percentage of cesarean sections with high incidence in teenagers. It evidenced that the main indications of cesarean section were due to former cesarean section and pregnancy specific hypertensive disease. It was recorded predominance of pregnants with 4 to 7 pre-natal appointments. Changes in pre-natal care can impact in cesarean section rate, preparing the mother to natural labor, something that can be closely related to midwives obstetrical nurses and physicians capacitation, as well as the placement of group care instead individual care.
RESUMOObjetivou-se, neste estudo, averiguar os aspectos contemplados na consulta de enfermagem ao portador de hipertensão arterial (HA). É um estudo descritivo, desenvolvido em três unidades de saúde de Fortaleza. Os sujeitos foram 13 enfermeiros. A coleta de dados ocorreu por observação de três consultas de cada enfermeiro e, posteriormente, de uma entrevista com este profissional. Foi observado que, durante a anamnese, houve identificação do tratamento prévio, da ingestão de substâncias hipertensoras e da existência de fatores de risco associados. No exame físico, constatou-se a ocorrência de inspeções da aparência do paciente e verificações da pressão arterial e peso. As categorias identificadas foram: nuances do papel do enfermeiro na atenção básica; tratamento da HA e dificuldades cotidianas das pessoas com esta enfermidade. Concluímos que muitos aspectos não vêm sendo abordados durante a consulta de enfermagem, o que pode acarretar um atendimento deficiente das pessoas acompanhadas pelo programa de HA em tais unidades de saúde. This is a descriptive study, developed in three healthcare centers in the city of Fortaleza. The subjects were 13 nurses, and data collection comprised the observation of three of each nurse's consultation , followed by an interview with this professional. It was observed that, during the anamnesis, the previous treatment, the ingestion of hypertensive substances and the existence of associated risk factors were identified. Inspections of the patient's appearance, blood pressure and weight were also evident. The identified categories were: aspects of the nurse's role in basic healthcare; treatment of hypertension and day-to-day difficulties of people with this disease. We conclude that many aspects are not being approached during the nursing consultation , which can result in a low-quality healthcare service provided for people cared for the hypertension program in these basic healthcare centers.
