It is known that the rates of basic sanitation in Brazil are precarious, especially in rural areas. In this context, this experience report was developed from the experience of students of the Federal University of Viçosa, in the Rondon Project: Operation Parnaíba 2019, in the workshop entitled "Development and Rural Sanitation" in a city in the interior of Piauí.
