El turismo a nivel mundial históricamente ha logrado un crecimiento importante, siendo considerado como una de las principales fuentes de ingresos de los países. Ecuador a raíz de la declaratoria mundial del COVID-19 experimentó una disminución en los ingresos del sector turístico, siendo Manta una de las ciudades con mayor impacto especialmente en el sector hotelero. Mediante la presente investigación, se busca conocer la incidencia económica generada por el COVID-19 sobre el sector hotelero de Manta, y determinar las alternativas de reactivación para este sector, considerando la capacidad de las empresas hoteleras para enfrentar dicha crisis. A través de un estudio descriptivo de enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, se realizaron encuestas a los turistas de la ciudad de Manta, cuyos resultados permitieron conocer que sin lugar a dudas el COVID-19 ha desencadenado la desaceleración económica en el sector hotelero local, por la disminución de la demanda de estos servicios. ABSTRACT Tourism worldwide has historically achieved significant growth, being considered one of the main sources of income for countries. Ecuador, as a result of the world declaration of COVID-19, experienced a decrease in income from the tourism sector, with Manta being one of the cities with the greatest impact, especially in the hotel sector. Through this research, we seek to know the economic impact generated by COVID-19 on the hotel sector of Manta, and determine the reactivation alternatives for this sector, considering the capacity of hotel companies to face this crisis. Through a descriptive study with a qualitative and quantitative approach, surveys were conducted with tourists in the city of Manta, the results of which revealed that without a doubt COVID-19 has triggered the economic slowdown in the local hotel sector, due to the decreased demand for these services. <p style="text-align: justify;">El logro de una mayor productividad laboral docente, está en correspondencia al clima organizacional, el cual se gesta en las propias instituciones de educación superior, lo que hace necesario mantener de forma favorable dicha “correspondencia”, sin embargo, es de notar en los docentes de la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí (ULEAM), con absoluta frontalidad, el incumplimiento de algunos aspectos institucionales, tales como el escaso involucramiento laboral y comunicación interpersonal durante las funciones cotidianas. Con base a lo expuesto, esta investigación se planteó como objetivo determinar si el clima organizacional influye en el desempeño académico de los docentes de la ULEAM. Se utilizó el método inductivo y un diseño no experimental. La Población del estudio fue de 692 docentes con nombramiento, y la muestra de 247 catedráticos de acuerdo a la formula aplicada. La información se obtuvo a través de la aplicación de un instrumento tipo cuestionario en escala de Likert, y, el análisis de los datos se realizó bajo el uso del paquete estadístico SPSS. Los resultados indicaron de acuerdo al baremo de medición, que existe una correlación positiva y significativa entre el clima organizacional y el desempeño docente, significando que el “desempeño” de los profesores viene a estar afectado por el “clima organizacional” de la institución.</p>
La satisfacción laboral es una actitud esencial del cliente interno (empleados), la cual puede verse influenciada por diversos factores tanto tangibles como intangibles. Esto determina que se deben gestionar estos factores para lograr dicha satisfacción. En este sentido, surge el endomarketing como una perspectiva aplicativa de estrategias de marketing en el interior de las organizaciones, teniendo como eje central al cliente interno, con la finalidad de que este se desempeñe de mejor manera en la relación con el cliente externo (consumidor), a fi n de lograr así los objetivos empresariales. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo establecer la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y el endomarketing en el sector hotelero de Manta, Ecuador. Se utilizó el método de investigación cuantitativo, con un diseño exploratorio-descriptivo con un enfoque correlacional no experimental. Por medio de los coeficientes de relación de Kendall, Pearson y Spearman se obtuvo una correlación positiva alta entre las variables de estudio.
Planetariamente las consecuencias de la pandemia han sido catastróficas, sacudiendo los sistemas de las naciones (económico, sanitario, social, productivo, laboral, educativo, etc.); a nivel de Ecuador la educación superior ha tenido que caminar hacia una improvisada conversión de lo presencial a lo virtual, develando fuertes debilidades en las universidades públicas, propias del apuro como de la inacción por parte de sus gestores, donde el estado tiene su corresponsabilidad. Si bien muchas ya se encaminaban hacia un modelo de educación digital (sobre todo las privadas), en las estatales el proceso ha sido muy lento, por lo que docentes y alumnos no logran adaptarse a este nuevo esquema, con notorias carencias en la “inmersión sincrónica”. Sin embargo, también es una etapa de oportunidades para dinamizar los modelos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, con pedagogías diferentes al esquema tradicional, en una práctica que advierte la necesidad de invertir en la formación en línea o teleeducación. La investigación se centra en las IES públicas de Manabí, conociendo de los propios actores las implicaciones positivas y negativas de estos cambios emergentes, como parte de los hallazgos. El objetivo del estudio fue “establecer en qué medida la tecnología impacta en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje sincrónico y asincrónico de las universidades públicas de Manabí”. Se aplicó el “método deductivo indirecto”, con soporte en varias tipologías investigativas, así como una encuesta en escala de Likert, cuyos resultados fueron procesados en el programa SPSS Statistics 25, para efectuar las pruebas de hipótesis, a través del coeficiente de correlación p (Rho) de Spearman.
