This paper presents the results of the development of an information system for assessing environmental-economic regional development based on the joint using the factor analysis and expert evaluations. As tools for the implementation of the Web-application were selected: database MySQL and the software part Microsoft Silverlight. Software implementation of the method of calculating integrated indicators of environmental-economic development is carried out in the C # programming language. The Web-application is designed to work with three groups of users (administrators, data editors and regular users) and provides access to controls depending on the level of access of a particular user. The developed information system allows analyzing regional development, identifying the causes of positive and negative trends, determining the list of the most important environmental and economic indicators to focus on and build regional development strategies.
This paper presents a computational method for studying the thermal conductivity of molecular crystals that can be used in the educational course of condensed matter physics. This method is based on the Debye model of thermal conductivity in the approximation of the corresponding relaxation times and allows studying the heat transfer processes features in simple molecular crystals at temperatures close to or above Debye temperature. The thermal conductivity is analysed in the framework of modified Debye model in which heat is transferred by low-frequency phonons and above the phonon mobility edge by “diffusive” modes migrating randomly from site to site. The mobility edge ω0
is found from the condition that the phonon mean-free path cannot become smaller than half the phonon wavelength. The contributions of phonon-phonon, one-, and two-phonon scattering to the total thermal resistance of molecular crystals are calculated under the assumption that the different scattering mechanisms contribute additively. The presented computational method will be useful in pedagogical activities for teaching students of physical faculties.
Maintaining motivation plays a special role during the introduction of distance learning in connection with the coronavirus epidemic. To analyze the features of motivation in different learning conditions, a graphic model of the student motivation has been presented. The effectiveness of the model was tested in both offline and online learning. The study showed that the influence of the main motivational components in the conditions of offline learning varies from primary school to higher education. The youngest students are best motivated to learn in a situation where the inner desire to learn something new is constantly supported by external stimulation. In primary school, the motivating influence of teachers and parents gradually decreases, but both the negative and positive influence of an important environment (friends, reference adults) increases. Adolescents have clearly defined learning goals. The impact of online learning on this category of students is quite controversial. The study has found mixed trends -- both an increase in motivation for learning and a sharp decrease. The first group is quietly moving to online learning, making extensive use of the Internet. The second either completely lose motivation to learn or shows unstable motivation, which either sharply decreases, then just as sharply increases.
The article analyzes the peculiarities of information support system for strategic marketing decision making. According to the survey of trade enterprises management personnel, there is a discrepancy between the information need and its use. The importance of developing strategic marketing information support system is substantiated. The information cycle of strategic marketing of trade enterprises is considered. Within the information cycle of strategic marketing of trade enterprises the levels of development of information support are defined, namely: operational, consolidation, integration, optimization, innovative.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
