-The virus Covid-19 has caused enough trouble for the whole world for nearly a year, ever since it first emerged in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. All areas of life are affected in a way or more, especially the education sector. Learning process shifting to be online at home, and it is now commonly referred to as online learning. Despite the now regulated way of learning, debates regarding the effectiveness of online learning are widely circulated. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of online learning, and whether it has positively or negatively impacted the students in any way. The result shows that online learning really has significantly positively impacted students’ performance. Their learning achievement, self-efficacy, as well as learning motivation have shown to be greatly affected by this way of learning. The sources of impacts come from the way the learning materials are delivered, how the class is held, and the educators themselves. The role and strategy of information sytems in all business sectors that exist at present have a very important priority for the company. This is inevitable because the information system has become an important part in the continuity of a company. Perhaps without the information system, the company’s operations will not be able to work properly because various sectors/divisions rely on business automation process. Planning strategy in an enterprise information system aims to enable companies to determine appropriate strategies in the information system implementation. Setting the information system and information technology strategically needs a way to understand the role of information technology on an organization. Most organizations will not hesitate to review the investment in information technology that has been done because the success of a company is also determined by the application of information systems. Evaluation of experience, success, and failure of the previous application is an important aspect in management strategy.
Nowadays social media has tremendously transformed organizational business process of institution. Higher Education as a place with the majority generation Y, that advances to use technology should realize these situations. With this social media platform, institution may facilitate the knowledge transfer process, then to support collaborative learning from e-learning to social learning. Referring to this phenomenon, this research will design the integration of concepts of knowledge management and social media as a framework to identify the significant components and its relationship to support each other. In this research, we use a systematic literature review from journal and text book to construct this collaboration model. The outcome of this study is collaboration model of knowledge management and social media to support learning process in higher education institution.
