Introducción. El caso de ‘La Manada’ de los SanFermines comienza en el año 2016, con la denuncia de una mujer por un delito de violación de cinco varones. El mediático caso supone una reacción social, política y mediática sin precedentes en España. El procedimiento judicial trae al foco del debate los conceptos de consentimiento, violencia e intimidación. Objetivos. El objetivo de este artículo es aportar un análisis de los datos sobre la violación en España y un marco de interpretación feminista sobre la violencia sexual, con el fin de evitar relatos estereotipados que dificulten la visibilización de este delito como una cuestión estructural. Metodología. El trabajo se sustenta en la función que cumplen los mitos de la violación en la escala AMMSA aplicados al caso de ‘La Manada’. Los mitos sobre la violación en el caso de ‘La Manada’. El debate del procedimiento judicial gira en torno a la distancia entre abuso y agresión; entre si había existido violencia o intimidación. La victimización secundaria se produce al no creer la declaración de la víctima; al contratar a un detective para seguir su vida y al cuestionar su comportamiento antes del crimen; así como por el uso de la grabación del acto delictivo. Conclusiones. Las violaciones grupales como ‘La Manada’ arrojan un relato en que, implícitamente, se relaciona el delito de violación con el espacio público y con varones desconocidos. Sin embargo, se ha constatado que los hogares son el primer espacio en el que se producen las violaciones y que son las niñas (0-17 años) las primeras víctimas en España. Es preciso conceptualizar la violación como una cuestión estructural; y acabar con la distancia antagónica entre el espacio público y privado que, todavía, esconde un mandato patriarcal histórico: el hogar es el espacio seguro para las mujeres.
Las campañas electorales tienen el objetivo de aumentar la participación para captar el voto del electorado. El encuentro privilegiado para acercarse a los ciudadanos es el debate, que en España supera los diez millones de espectadores. No obstante, los medios de comunicación convencionales son determinantes en las campañas. La televisión todavía es el medio escogido por los españoles, según el Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, para seguir información política en campaña electoral. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar los discursos de los candidatos políticos en el debate electoral de las elecciones del 10 de noviembre de 2019 en España. Por otro lado, buscamos concluir si el discurso de la Radio y Televisión Española (RTVE) sobre el debate electoral en Twitter es una reproducción del discurso político o si se cumple la función de servicio público. Para el análisis del discurso político y de RTVEdel debate electoral empleamos como metodología de análisis la teoría del framing. Las conclusiones de este estudio muestran que la televisión pública informó a la ciudadanía sin reproducir el discurso político, aunque los tuits dedicados al conflicto entre candidatos y la presentación de medidas del PSOE fueron los más frecuentes.
La presente investigación consiste en un análisis de la caracterización del movimiento #MeToo en España a través de la cobertura de los casos de violencia sexual en las versiones digitales de El País y ABC. La ventana temporal escogida para el estudio es el período entre el 15 de octubre de 2017 y el 8 de marzo de 2018. La metodología de la investigación es un análisis de contenido cualitativo. Para eso, empleamos como categorías la evolución cronológica del #MeToo; los países sobre los que se proporciona cobertura mediática; los actores; las secciones; el tono y el tipo de violencia sexual que caracteriza las informaciones del movimiento. Además, realizamos un estudio cuantitativo a través de la herramienta Google Trends, que nos permite establecer el impacto del concepto #MeToo en la web. Entre los principales resultados destacamos que la mayor parte de las noticias de ABC y El País del #MeToo son sobre Estados Unidos y, concretamente, celebridades de Hollywood. Las secciones en que se incluyen las informaciones son ‘Gente’, ‘Tribuna’ y ‘Cine’. Asimismo, el relato mediático sobre el #MeToo se centra en el abuso y el acoso sexual. También se constatan coincidencias entre la cobertura de casos del #MeToo y su impacto en la web. Los medios de comunicación no han conceptualizado la violencia sexual en su amplitud. Apenas se han creado historias sobre víctimas anónimas. Esta cobertura restringida a las celebridades dificulta la descripción de la violencia desde la perspectiva interseccional y acentúa el fenómeno de la cifra negra.
El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el discurso político sobre género en la campaña electoral del PSOE y Vox en las elecciones del 28A en España. Con este fin, nos centramos en los mensajes en la red social Twitter entre los días 12 y 26 de abril de 2019 a través de un estudio cualitativo. El análisis de los dos partidos políticos constata una creciente polarización política y social, especialmente acentuada en cuestiones de género y en derechos de las mujeres. Se ha optado por estas dos fuerzas por considerarlas antagónicas en su discurso sobre el tema y por sus diferentes posiciones políticas (Gobierno y oposición). La polarización en los discursos encontró reflejo en la red social donde el PSOE utilizó hashtags como #LaEspañaQueQuieresEsFeminista, #NiUnPasoAtrás, #NoEsNo, mientras Vox apostó por #NoHablesEnMiNombre, #FueraChiringuitosDeGénero o #FemiMarxistas.
Tras el confinamiento originado por la COVID-19, las marcas buscaron adaptar sus campañas al nuevo contexto y lograr una nueva interacción con sus clientes. En este nuevo entorno, los espacios virtuales de las redes sociales se convirtieron en lugares de encuentro. El restaurante de origen venezolano, ubicado en España, Goiko Grill, apostó por una campaña de concienciación a través de los stories de Instagram, justo cuando se pasaba a la primera fase de desconfinamiento. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar el vínculo generado entre la marca y los millennials a partir de la honestidad como valor de marca, presente en esta campaña. El trabajo de investigación cuenta con dos fases: 1) Una revisión bibliográfica en la que se estudia la publicidad en redes sociales, los influencers y el potencial de los Instagram Stories. 2) Un estudio cuantitativo (N= 91) que parte de un cuestionario enviado a estudiantes de la Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, con conocimientos de marketing en el entorno digital y con un perfil internacional (Colombia, Ecuador, República Dominicana, Honduras, México y España). Utilizando una metodología mixta, se consiguen conocer las percepciones que se generaron en torno a la campaña, analizando también la inspiración y el uso de tendencias, la pertinencia en el contexto y la definición de los objetivos de marca en un público limitado a estudiantes universitarios. Después de analizar las percepciones de los participantes en el análisis de la campaña de @Goiko, podemos establecer que la honestidad de la marca es uno de los valores más resaltados, ya que va acorde con la transparencia que los millennials esperan encontrar en las redes sociales. Estos espacios virtuales de encuentro son esenciales para llegar al público, pero su aceptación no tiene lugar si la comunidad no detecta honestidad en la interacción con la marca.
