AMIKOM STMIK Library Yogyakarata is a library that hasimplemented a digitization system. All forms of library access are presentedin digital form, ranging from book collections, journals, to the use ofseveral other digital services. So that collections from digital libraries canbe used for a long time, a library needs to do digital preservation. Thisstudy aims to see how the strategy of the STIKIK AMIKOM library inYogyakarta to preserve digital collections. This research method usesdescriptive qualitative and data collection using interviews. The researchresults in this study are the AMIKOM STMIK library doing severalactivities such as; preservation and refreshing of digital devices and alsobacking up digital collections.
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji: 1) kebutuhan informasi mahasiswa difabel netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta; 2) karakteristik sumber informasi mahasiswa difabel netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta; 3) perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa difabel netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta; dan 4) hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa difabel netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dalam memperoleh informasi selama Pandemi Covid-19. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan interpretatif. Penentuan informan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive, yakni mahasiswa difabel netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta yang memiliki Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) tertinggi, sebanyak 3 orang mahasiswa. Ketiga mahasiswa difabel netra tersebut tergolong dalam kategori kehilangan penglihatan dengan derajat lemah atau rendah (low vision). Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis kebutuhan informasi mahasiswa difabel netra UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari: 1) jenis everyday need approach; 2) jenis current need approach; 3) jenis catching-up need approach. Selain itu terdapat 2 karakteristik sumber perolehan informasi mahasiswa difabel netra berdasarkan. Pertama, sumber informasi mandiri, dan kedua, sumber informasi bantuan, yakni sumber informasi yang didapatkan oleh mahasiswa difabel netra dengan cara meminta bantuan relawan atau mengakses layanan bantuan pendampingan dari relawan PLD UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Adapun perilaku pencarian informasi mahasiswa difabel netra yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan 8 tahapan model Ellis yang terdiri dari: 1) starting: 2) chaining; 3) browsing; 4) differentiating; 5) monitoring; 6) extracting; 7) verifying; dan 8) ending. Penulis juga berhasil menyimpulkan bahwa 1 dari 3 orang mahasiswa difabel netra UIN sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta menggunakan seluruh tahapan dalam proses pencarian informasi dengan menggunakan model tersebut. Artikel ini juga mengidentifikasi 7 (tujuh) bentuk hambatan pencarian informasi yang dialami oleh mahasiswa difabel netra pada masa pandemi Covid-19.
Motivation is formed from human needs, how behavior can be initiated and directed. Work motivation is important for librarians in working in the library. In this study the author aims to determine how work motivation and the factors that encourage work motivation of librarians at UPT. UIN Ar-Raniry Library Banda Aceh. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques used by interviews, observation and documentation. Researchers conducted interviews with 7 informants who were selected based on purposive sampling technique. The results of this study are librarians at UPT. UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh Libraries have motivations that arise within themselves, both intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, work motivation related to responsibilities as a librarian profession, working to meet the needs of life, working to get achievement, and work motivation that related to trying to give the best work. There are factors that influence the work motivation of librarians such as income in the form of rights or benefits, a comfortable and safe work environment, social needs and opportunities for growth. Things that can increase the motivation of librarians in working at the UIN Ar-Raniry Library, namely by fulfilling the responsibilities given, improving the quality and existing competencies. As well as the obstacles faced due to the lack of ability of librarians to do something new and difficult to deal with visitors with various characters.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghimpun informasi mengenai gerakan tari Landok Sampot, menganalisis tentang ragam gerak yang terkandung dalam gerakan tari tradisional tersebut, serta mengidentifikasi eksistensinya dalam komunitas masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di tengah komunitas pemilik tarian tersebut masyarakat asli Kluet yang terdian di desa Lawe Sawah Kecamatan Kluet Timur Kabupaten Aceh Selatan. Untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat mengenai hal tersebut, digunakan teknik wawancara mendalam yang didukung dengan teknik observasi. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa fakta yang menunjukkan bahwa Landok Sampot merupakan tari tradisi yang terancam punah di Kluet, Aceh Selatan, diperlukan tindakan yang cepat dan tepat untuk menyelamatkan asset seni budaya bangsa ini. Tarian ini terinspirasi dari latihan perang-perangan dalam masa perjuangan melawan penjajahan belenda hingga penjajahan jepang di Aceh, khususnya di wilayah Kluet. Dalam perkembangannya tarian ini menjadi seni pertunjukkan yang bersifat menghibur, namun tetap saja menyimpan pesan dalam bentuk syair dan gerakan yang dapat dengan mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat setempat. Berbeda dari zaman penjajahan, tarian ini kemudian menjadi sarana untuk menyampaikan pesan-pesan moral kepada masyarakat umum.
