Angular distributions have been measured for deuteron elastic scattering from 46Ti and for the 46Ti (d, p) 47Ti reaction at energies of Ed = 7 and 10 MeV. Many of the angular distributions, in particular those from weakly excited states, cannot be reproduced by DWBA calculations. When compound-nucleus cross sections calculated using a Hauser-Feshbach model are added incoherently to those from the DWBA calculations it is found that satisfactory fits can be obtained to almost all angular distributions showing forward peaking. For several levels including the ground state of 47Ti there is no evidence of any forward peaking and it is found that these levels can be reproduced by the Hauser-Feshbach calculations alone. It is found that for the level at E, = 1.245 MeV the angular momentum transfer ( I = 1) deduced from the angular distribution is not consistent with the adopted J" value of Bfor this level.
Optical Interleaving filters are attractive components in Wavelength Division Multi/Demultiplexing (WDM) systems especially narrower than 100GHz channel spacing system. Several types of interleaving filters have been proposed and realized. An interleaving filter is required to have the Box-like characteristics such as the periodic response, flat-passband, low insertion loss and low crosstalk. In addition, low chromatic dispersion (CD) is indispensable for Dense WDM (DWDM) systems. We focus on planar lightwave circuit (PLC) interleaving filters. In this paper, we present interleaving filters with a tandem configuration of Fourier transform-based Mach-Zehnder Interferometers (MZIs). The circuit using PLC technique is fabricated with high index contrast waveguides of ? 1.5%. We also have demonstrated integrated 1x4 (25-100GHz,50-200GHz) interleaving filters and arrayed waveguide gratings (AWGs) with 200GHz-channel spacing suitable for interleaving WDM system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
