This article describes the learning process of Civic Education in Higher Education through e-learning. College students today are Millennial's Generation (Y Generation) who are very familiar with internet and use in technology. The development of technology provides a challenge for the education system. This qualitative research is carried out using the literature study method, observation and interviews in the subject of learning media in the classroom. In this study lecturers used Google Classroom media. The researcher was worked together with ten students of Pancasila and Civic Education Program and a lecture of learning media in Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. The interview was conducted after learning media class closing. Data analysis was carried out in two way that was arranged repeatedly and coding of interviews data. Based on the results shows Civic Education through e-learning using Google Classroom has increases students to be able to critical thinking, creative and innovative. The use of Google Classroom also gives freedom to college students in learning activities so that they can create learning media and implement it when practicing teaching at school.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) telah dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk menunjang pembelajaran yang interaktif, efektif dan efisien. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT sangat penting bagi pembelajaran PPKn di jenjang SMP yang selama ini terkesan tekstual dan membosankan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah terbatasnya kemampuan guru PPKn SMP dalam memanfaatkan dan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dengan menyelenggarakan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PPKn SMP. Metode pelaksanaan ditempuh melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu : 1) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pemahaman guru mengenai ICT melalui artikel-artikel dan pengamatan secara langsung; 2) merumuskan strategi pelaksanaan pelatihan yang tepat; 3) melaksanakan pelatihan dengan melibatkan guru-guru PPKn SMP melalui aplikasi Zoom; 4) Presentasi, diskusi dan praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT; 5) menyebarkan kuesioner evaluasi kegiatan; dan 6) mengevaluasi kegiatan. Pelatihan ini berlangsung dengan lancar dan mendapatkan respon yang baik dari peserta. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru PPKn SMP khususnya dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT.
This study aims to describe the process of developing mobile learning on social tolerance material in higher education. Data collection was carried out using the Instructional Development Institute model Grabowski. The control class learning outcomes of 40 students get an average value of 73.25, while the experimental class learning outcomes of 40 students get an average value of 83.25. Furthermore, to find out the significance of the differences in learning outcomes between the two classes, a t-test was performed by conducting a normality test and a homogeneity test. Significant value is obtained for the control class of 0.153 and the experimental class of 0.601, so it can be concluded that the data are normally distributed because > 0.05.
Artikel ini menganalisis kebutuhan guru PPKn sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan informasi melalui video pembelajaran. Video pembelajaran menjadi salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan teknologi yang harus dimiliki guru terutama guru PPKn dalam rangka mendukung suksesnya pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) yang efektif dan efisien. Hal ini dikarenakan materi PPKn yang cenderung tekstual sehingga diperlukan media yang mampu meningkatkan perhatian dan minat belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan dan kuesioner yang disebar kepada 116 guru PPKn SMA di berbagai sekolah yang ada di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 80% guru mengalami kesulitan untuk melibatkan peserta didik aktif dalam kegiatan PJJ. Selain itu, 78% guru mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat media pembelajaran untuk kegiatan PJJ. Sehingga, kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh guru adalah pelatihan pemanfaatan video pembelajaran.
Untuk menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia, pemerintah dan masyarakat sebagai warga negara yang baik seharusnya dapat saling bekerja sama, saling mendukung dan saling berisinergi. Akan tetapi masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak peduli. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan menyampaikan video edukasi Covid-19 melalui instagram sebagai media sosial yang mudah diakses dan paling banyak digunakan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik kuesioner. Data dalam penulisan ini diperoleh dari hasil kuisioner yang disebar kepada 40 (empat puluh) responden melalui google from. Kegiatan ini berhasil diselenggarakan dengan baik. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dapat dilihat dari adanya respon positif dari responden dan meningkatnya tanggung jawab responden sebagai warga negara yang baik.
This study aims to analyse the zoning system policies regulated by The Ministry of Education and Culture Rule Number 44 Year 2019 about the policy of new student recruitment by referring to some character values in Government Policy Number 87 Year 2017 about the strengthening character education, namely democratic values, social care values and values of respect for achievement. The zoning system is a system of regulating the process of recruiting new students according to the area of residence. The system is regulated in Ministry or Education and Culture Rule No. 14 of 2018 and is intended so that no schools are considered favourite and non-favorite schools. The system won criticism because some students were even accepted into schools that had a greater distance than the nearest school. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method to determine respondents' assessments of zoning system policies as evaluation material. The results of this study indicate that the Zoning System Policy regulated in government law Number 44 of 2019 concerning the policy of new student recruitment is in accordance with character values such as democratic values, caring values and values of respecting achievement, even though they have not fulfilled the educational goals to the full. In terms of democratic values, the zoning system has succeeded in equitable distribution of education by providing easy access for students, eliminating educational disparities between urban and rural areas, eliminating the impression of favorite and non-favourite schools and improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
In the learning of Pancasila and Civic Education, discussions about BPUPK are often attached to the debates about the formulation of Pancasila as the national principle. In fact, the debates in the BPUPK meeting did not only concern to the national principle, but also about the concept of the state and the citizen. This research aims to analyze how the debate over the concept of the state and citizen is in the treatise of the BPUPK meeting. This research used a qualitative approach with library research methods and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this research showed that the debate on the concept of the state was divided into two, namely the debate in the form of the state which is faced with the form of a unitary state, union state and state union, and the debate in the form of government which was faced with the monarchy and republic. Furthermore, the debate about citizens was also divided into two, namely the debate on citizenship for foreign descendants which debates whether or not to make foreign descendants as Indonesian citizens in the Constitution, and the debate on the rights of citizens that debates whether to include or not, the rights of citizens in the Constitution.
