<p>This research leads to the object of learning in network-based learning programs application of the use of VR in online learning for students in Higher EducationThis research is located in the Education Technology study program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. This study focuses on learning theories, learning methods and learning models used in technology to improve learning outcomes in class. This method used explanatory sequential mixed methods research. Field trials were conducted for students, with a total of 12 students and field trials would be conducted for students with a total of 30 people in 2018. Data collection through interviews of 15 students and 3 lecturers for 40 minutes. The results showed that using VR can foster motivation to learn to develop student skills in simulating learning models and learning can be efficient and effective. VR can also enhance students for teaching practices and train students to innovate learning models used in technology.</p>
The presence of technology is changing the way people to get information and communication. In the field of counseling, information technology offers some of the latest innovations to reach out, facilitate and communicate with individuals who need help from all over the world. This qualitative research collected data through literature study by analyzing 5 research results from various academics in various countries and conducting interviews with 10 youth aged 19-23 years, and 3 counselors. The results of this qualitative study indicate that online counseling makes it easy for youth in expressing the problem in their life. In addition, online counseling has great potential in offering therapy and can be done anywhere. Therefore, clients can minimize transportation costs for face-to-face counseling. Although the results of the analysis of previous studies indicate that online counseling has a weakness that is lack of knowledge and special abilities possessed by counselors in communicating through chat and lack of skills in writing texts to avoid misunderstandings with online counseling users. In the other side, previous research shows solutions related to the use of online counseling. The counselor must face the development of technology and use it as a facility to communicate with young people.
The results of observations in several junior high schools in Jakarta showed that in the current global era the presence of millennial generation cultural values, a person needs a strong controller to be able to choose and sort out the values freely offered. That is necessary to strengthen social tolerance, especially for teachers in Junior High School. The activity was carried out in order to establish a tolerant attitude, especially in instilling multicultural values such as democracy, justice, equality, tolerance and respect for diversity. As well as improving the ability of teachers to provide reinforcement of social tolerance in the learning of Civic Education in junior high school. The method used to strengthen social tolerance of Civic Education learning is through training that is guided by experienced instructors. The evaluation used to measure the success of this training can be seen through the training activity evaluation questionnaire that was filled in by all the training participants. The target audience for this training activity are Civic Education teachers in Junior High School at Jakarta. The results of this training show that in the cultivation of social tolerance there are several attitudes that must be taken, namely: harmonious interaction, instilling brotherhood, instilling caring attitude, collaborative attitude. It is expected that the planting of social tolerance provided by Civic Education teacher to students can achieve Civic Education vision of building smart and good citizens. Furthermore, by cultivating sustainable tolerance it will build tolerant citizens. Because citizens who are intellectually intelligent, both emotionally and actively building a country for a better Indonesia.
<p class="0abstract">This study aims to describe the use of the flipped classroom for improving the self-regulated learning of pre-service teachers. This explanatory mixed-method collected the information related to the characteristics of students who take Theory Learning courses through e-learning. This research collaborated with students of 2018 which included 30 students and 7 lecturers of Theory Learning courses from 7 study programs at the Faculty of Education Science, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The results show by a one-tailed test at a significant level 0,05 with n-1 = 29 is 2,045, so tcount (5,843) > ttable (2,045), means an increase after the use of flipped classroom learning outcomes in Theory Learning courses. And also improving self-regulated students. It can be concluded that in general the learning independence of the students of the Faculty of Education Science of Universitas Negeri Jakarta in the indicators has self-confidence categorized as positive<strong>.</strong></p>
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) telah dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk menunjang pembelajaran yang interaktif, efektif dan efisien. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT sangat penting bagi pembelajaran PPKn di jenjang SMP yang selama ini terkesan tekstual dan membosankan. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah terbatasnya kemampuan guru PPKn SMP dalam memanfaatkan dan membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dengan menyelenggarakan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PPKn SMP. Metode pelaksanaan ditempuh melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu : 1) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pemahaman guru mengenai ICT melalui artikel-artikel dan pengamatan secara langsung; 2) merumuskan strategi pelaksanaan pelatihan yang tepat; 3) melaksanakan pelatihan dengan melibatkan guru-guru PPKn SMP melalui aplikasi Zoom; 4) Presentasi, diskusi dan praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT; 5) menyebarkan kuesioner evaluasi kegiatan; dan 6) mengevaluasi kegiatan. Pelatihan ini berlangsung dengan lancar dan mendapatkan respon yang baik dari peserta. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru PPKn SMP khususnya dalam membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT.
