Lancang Kuning, it was found that the students had low speaking skills. One of the factors was the students' hesitation in making mistakes especially mistakes in grammar.The aim of this research was to improve the students' low speaking skills by using Visual Aid. It was classroom Action Research which had been conducted in three cycles. The participants of this research were the students of the English Education Department of Education and Teachers Training Faculty of Universitas Lancang Kuning. It was found that there was improvement of the students' speaking skills under the use of Visual Aids within three cycling process or fifteen meetings. The purpose of research is to know the partial influence (T test) and simultaneously (F test) between brand image variable and service quality to customer satisfaction PT Pegadaian (Persero) Batam. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method with quantitative approach Data collection techniques were done by distributing questionnaires to each respondent as much as 294 respondents. The results showed that the value of R Square of 0,135 or 13,5% of the value can be known the brand image and service quality affect the customer satisfaction of 13,5% while the rest is 86,5% influenced by other factors not examined. The result of research based on t test for brand image has value equal to 6,080 > 1,968 (t table) and significant value 0,000 <0,05 meaning that variable of brand image have significant effect to customer satisfaction, while service quality has value of 2,281 > 1,968 (t table) and significant value 0,023<0,05 meaning service quality variable have significant effect to customer satisfaction. And the result of F test has value equal to 22,670>3,03 (F table) and significant value 0,000 <0,05 can be interpreted that variable brand image and service quality simultaneously have significant effect toeffect to customer satisfaction.
Abstrak Didalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 bahwa pendidik merupakan tenaga profesional yang bertugas merencanakan dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, menilai hasil pembelajaran, melakukan pembimbingan dan pelatihan, serta melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, terutama bagi pendidik pada perguruan tinggi. Kemudian tenaga kependsidikan bertugas melaksanakan administrasi, pengelolaan, pengembangan, pengawasan, dan pelayanan teknis untuk menunjang proses pendidikan pada satuan pendidikan. Pendidik profesional memiliki tanggungjawab dan komitmen dalam melakukan perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang profesional senantiasa memiliki komitmen yang tinggi baik untuk diri pribadi maupun untuk masyarakat secara luas. Pembentukan, pengembangan dan peningkatan mutu profesionalitas guru menjadi keharusan, bagi semua pihak yang berkepentingan, bersangkutan, dan peduli dengan pengembangan dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Secara pribadi guru bertanggung jawab atas mutu profesionalitasnya sehingga akan senantiasa membentuk, mengembangkan, membina, dan meningkatkan mutu dan kadar profesionalitasnya. Dengan berbagai cara, komunitas masyarakat juga perlu berpartisipasi aktif dalam berbagai upaya membentuk, mengembangkan, membina, dan meningkatkan mutu profesionalitas guru itu sendiri. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang berusaha menganalisis proses atau aktivitas dalam pengembangan profesionalisme pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di SMAN 2 Wera Kabupaten Bima. Data yang diperlukan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh peneliti melalui wawancara. Data sekunder dalam penelitian ini adalah data yang diperoleh melalui observasi seperti dokumen mengenai program pelatihan profesionalisme, workshop supervisi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini kepala sekolah, guru-guru dan tenaga kependidikan (staf sekolah). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data/kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan sebagaimana yang tertuang didalam UU Nomor 2003/2003 merupakan bagian yang terintegrasi dalam satu pandangan bahwa guru harus memiliki kualifikasi, baik kualifikasi pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian maupun kualifikasi sosial. Ini berarti bahwa pendidik (guru) memiliki tanggungjawab besar dalam membina, membimbing, dan mengarahkan siswa kedalam suatu kemajuan yang memungkinkan para peserta didik lebih kreatif, inovatif dan kritis. Guru juga memiliki kekhasan dalam mendidik dan membimbing siswa akan tetapi itu semua tentu akan ditunjangi oleh keahlian dan kreativitas guru itu sendiri baik dalam hal mengelola pelajaran, melatih maupun berpartisipasi dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Pribadi guru yang profesional akan sangat nampak tanggungjawab atas mutu keprofesionalannya sehingga akan senantiasa membentuk, mengembangkan, membina, dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.
This researcher aims to find the DISPERSIP website in terms of usability using Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) to determine which parts need to be improved. The Kampar Regency Library and Archives Service have implemented one of the online-based library services with the implementation of a website in the library and archives section of Kampar Regency. The aim is that governance relationships involving the Government, the private sector and the community can be created to be more effective, efficient, productive and responsive. In its application, problems arise, such as incompatibility of menu names, no back button, colour differences, and inactive links and errors—an unprecedented evaluation of the website's usability. The WEBUSE method determines the usability level of a website based on the user's perspective. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed to all active members of the library with a definite website with a total of 100 respondents based on the slovin formula. Based on the results of the usability evaluation, the DISPERSIP website got a good usability level for the four categories of usability in the WEBUSE method, namely Content, Organization and Readability with a value of 0.70, Navigation and Links with a value of 0.69, User Interface Design with a value of 0.70 and Performance and Effectiveness got a score of 0.60. Overall the DISPERSIP website has good usability with a value of 0.67, and there are eight recommendations for usability improvements based on the problem.
