O Protocolo de Manchester (PM) é uma ferramenta indispensável direcionada principalmente para gestão dos serviços de urgência no Brasil e em outros países, onde os pacientes são classificados na triagem por escalas de cores, usando como base os sinais e sintomas, observando assim o grau de complicação e o tempo de espera até o seu atendimento. Este estudo teve como objetivo realizar uma busca ativa na literatura sobre atuação do enfermeiro na classificação de risco através do Protocolo de Manchester nos serviços de urgência e emergência. Trata-se de estudo de origem descritivo, utilizando como técnica a Revisão Integrativa de Literatura (RIL), em conjunto com a estratégia de PICO para formulação da pergunta norteadora. A pesquisa foi realizada entre os meses de março e maio de 2021 nas bases indexadas dentro da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS), sendo: LILACS, BDENF e MEDLINE através da junção de quatro Descritores em Saúde (DeCS) cruzados com o operador booleano “AND”: Enfermagem em Emergência AND Serviços Médicos de Emergência AND Enfermagem AND Triagem, sendo encontrados 479 artigos na totalidade. Ao adicionar os critérios de artigos publicados nos últimos cinco anos (2016 a 2021) dentro dos idiomas português e inglês, este número reduziu para 89. Após a leitura e análise das pesquisas, 11 artigos foram selecionados para compor este estudo. A classificação de risco tem inúmeros benefícios para seus usuários, com maior destaque para a redução de riscos e mortes evitáveis, priorização do atendimento após a avaliação dos critérios clínicos, extinção da triagem por funcionamento não qualificado. Diante das informações expostas, foi verificado a importância do profissional de enfermagem frente a classificação de risco por meio do protocolo de Manchester nas unidades de urgência e emergência, sendo ele o profissional direcionado e capacitado para realizar a avaliação do cliente.
A Infecção em Sítio Cirúrgico (ISC) é definida como um processo infeccioso no qual acomete os tecidos, cavidades e órgãos abordados em processos cirúrgicos, sendo necessário um empenho especial para mantê-las sob controle, sendo denominadas como parâmetros de controle da qualidade no serviço prestado por uma instituição hospitalar. Objetivou-se com o presente artigo descrever as condutas e gerenciamentos de enfermagem voltada para redução das infecções do sítio cirúrgico e a segurança do paciente na assistência de enfermagem. A revisão, após o processo de legibilidade e inelegibilidade, selecionou 12 artigos através de leituras exploratória, seletiva, analítica e interpretativa, provenientes das bases de dados LILACS e SCIELO. As pesquisas selecionadas nos proporcionaram um quantitativo de 320 trabalhos possíveis para o estudo desejado, sendo assim, ficaram 30 e após a leitura novamente destes resumos que estavam disponibilizados na íntegra e que, consequentemente foram relidos e novamente selecionados, chegou-se a um número de 12 estudos que chegaram no objetivo deste estudo de revisão. Com isso foi enfatizado sobre a necessidade de implementações de medidas educativas que alcancem todos os profissionais assistenciais que atuam nesse contexto, buscando não somente a conscientização, mas também o reconhecimento e a aplicação do conhecimento científico na prática profissional, fazendo disso um artifício fundamental no combate à infecção rotineira.
Humanizar na saúde consiste em reconhecer as práticas do convívio do profissional e do cliente, através de respeito e confiança, possibilitando um acolhimento mais digno e justo ao paciente. Este estudo teve como objetivo realizar uma busca ativa na literatura sobre a atuação do enfermeiro diante do atendimento humanizado nos serviços de urgência e emergência, assim como os desafios para a sua implementação. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, com abordagem metodológica qualitativa, utilizando a Revisão Integrativa de Literatura (RIL) como técnica, em conjunto com a estratégia PICO para formulação da pergunta norteadora. Este estudo foi elaborado entre os meses de abril e junho de 2021 nas bases de dados indexadas dentro da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS): LILACS, BDENF e MEDLINE, através da junção de três Descritores de Saúde (DeCS) cruzados com o operador booleano “AND”: Enfermagem em Emergência AND Enfermagem AND Humanização da Assistência, sendo encontradas 281 artigos na totalidade. Ao adicionar os critérios de artigos publicados nos últimos cinco anos (2016 a 2021) dentro dos idiomas português e inglês, este número reduziu para 124. Após a leitura, análise e interpretação das pesquisas, 9 artigos foram selecionados. O processo de humanização dentro do setor de urgência e emergência pode ser implementando, porém a logo prazo, desde que as práticas sejam colocadas em práticas, não fiquem somente na literatura, por meio de treinamentos nas equipes de saúde, com foco nos profissionais que passam anos no mesmo serviço, que acabam se acostumando com a rotina e muitas vezes trabalham de maneira fria. Este estudo mostrou que os enfermeiros possuem um papel significativo frente ao atendimento prestado ao paciente no serviço emergencial.
