Education should be able to provide experience and experience to improve the quality of learning for the achievement of National Education. Improving the quality of education is very important to produce students into a generation of smart and skilled in dealing with challenges in a changing global life. The purpose of this study is to find out how the development of legal awareness of student traffic through jurisprudential learning model in Civic Education. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method and the data obtained through observation technique, interview, and documentation. Subjects in this study were students, teachers and the police. Data analysis techniques used consisted of three activities that occur simultaneously that is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that the utilization of a jurisprudential learning model as the implementation of Civic Education learning can have a positive impact on teachers in identifying the needs and obstacles of students in learning. In addition, it can improve the quality of learning on the level of legal awareness of student traffic as young citizens. Therefore the development of Citizenship education as a vehicle for legal awareness education should continue and required steps that are carried out continuously and comprehensively.
Indonesia is a country that consists of various ethnic groups, cultures and religions. Religious differences have the potential to social conflict if mutual respect is poor, or too concerned about other people's religious affairs. The issue can certainly threaten Indonesia's unity. Through this religious humanism approach it is expected that it will foster awareness that God's law that teaches affection for others can be used as a basis for citizens' behavior in social, national and state life. This paper aims to describe the process of optimizing civic education as a religious humanist education in higher education. This study employs a qualitative approach that is descriptive over reality with the aim of interpreting social phenomenon in the form of case studies obtained from print media, electronic media and literature. In the research, it is found that there is still prohibition of celebrating religious commemoration and the difficulty of building houses of worship which shows that there is intolerance. This can cause relationship disharmony among religious communities. Optimizing civic education by emphasizing religious human values can build harmony in religious life.
This paper will provide new insight into the participatory social construction of citizens in the protection and management of the environment. Exploring individual discourses and interactions in constructing citizen participation. This paper is produced by a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection using interview, observation and document study, then analyzed using Critical Discourse Analysis and Interactive Analysis. Research finds discourse on sustainable development of opinion articles constructing citizen participation. But the construction of participation is a dynamic process formed through action and interaction. The involvement of individuals in key communities provides the construction experience of citizen participation. Individuals build the reality of their participation on an ongoing basis as civic competence increases.
Pancasila is five fundamental values which are idealized to be a civilized society. The society which is based on the values, cultural and spirituality of its people that is reflected in Divinity value, Humanity values, Unity, Democracy and social justice. Therefore this paper aimed to provide a theoretical and philosophical foundation that Pancasila is essentially a civilized society's illustration of Indonesian people. By the value of Almighty God as a foundation as well as spirituality for creating civilized society who is humanist, nationalist, democratic and socially justice. Certainly this study used analytic descriptive method by searching data and using literature studies as the source. The conclusion showed that Pancasila is a collection of Indonesian people's fundamental values which is used as an illustration and the goal of creating Indonesian people's civilized society who is Religious, humanist, nationalist, democratic and socially justice, in other words for the Indonesian people, a civilized society is a Pancasila society.
This study aims to understand the innovation of strengthening religious character through a devotional program in civic education. This research is to know how devotional programs can increase the spiritual aspect and the efforts made by the school in supporting the program. The research design used was qualitative research with a case study method. Technique collection data were carried out by interview, observation, literature, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) devotional program conducted in the school could strengthen the religious character of the students, (2) the innovation form in increasing the religious character is by carrying out devotional programs routinely at school, and it becomes an obligation to be followed. (3) Inhibiting and supporting factors faced is about the place of a religious program that is less attractive, the time of worship held during the day, the selection of religious themes. While the supporting factors in the form of assistance from stakeholders such as teachers who are coordinated and cooperate with each other in achieving the objectives of the devotional program. In addition, the school provides a space for students, especially the student council officials to lead the devotional program.
