The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of Christian Religious Education on changes in the character of teenagers at GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading. This study uses a quantitative survey research methodology by using a statistical regression analysis technique. The data collection technique used a Likert scale with four answer choices distributed to 40 teenagers in this study. The data processing results show a correlation between the variables of Christian Religious Education and Teenagers Character Building of 0.486 or 48.6%. This means that Christian Religious Education has a positive role in changing the character building of teenagers at GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap perubahan karakter remaja di GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif survey dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistika regresi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert empat pilihan jawaban yang dibagikan kepada 40 remaja yang menjadi responden penelitian ini. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan ada korelasi antara variabel Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Remaja sebesar 0,486 atau 48,6 %. Artinya bahwa Pendidikan Agama Kristen memiliki peran yang positif dalam perubahan pembentukan karakter remaja di GBI Bukit Sion Kelapa Gading.
Profesional dan kualitas guru PAUD berpengaruh pada kualitas siswa, termasuk didalamnya adalah motorik siswa. Dengan demikian, diperlukan peningkatan profesionalisme dan kualitas guru PAUD dalam mengajar dan dalam hal ini adalah metode pembelajaran. Berkenaan dengan peningkatan motorik siswa, maka guru PAUD perlu dibekali dan ditingkatkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan kreatif. Beberapa metode pembelajaran yang berkaitan dalam peningkatan motorik siswa adalah menggambar, mewarnai, dan mengecat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya motorik siswa di PAUD Kemah Kasih. Peningkatan motorik siswa berdampak pada meningkatknya fokus atau konsentrasi, kesabaran, keterampilan, emosi, ketaatan, ketepatan dalam mengisi obyek, disiplin, kreatifitas, pantang menyerah (menyelesaikan tugas sampai selesai) pada siswa PAUD Kemah Kasih. Professional and quality of early childhood teachers have an effect on the quality of students, including students' motor skills. Thus, it is necessary to increase the professionalism and quality of PAUD teachers in teaching and in this case is the learning method. With regard to improving student motor skills, PAUD teachers need to be equipped and enhanced with appropriate and creative learning methods. Several learning methods related to improving students' motor skills are drawing, coloring, and painting. The method used in this community service activity is assistance. The result of this activity was the improvement of the students' motor skills at the Kemah Kasih PAUD. The increase in student motoric has an impact on increasing focus or concentration, patience, skill, emotion, obedience, accuracy in filling objects, discipline, creativity, never giving up (completing assignments to completion) in Kemah Kasih PAUD students.
A positive relationship between parental assistance and playmates with children's social development which includes two dimensions, namely attitudes and behavior. Attitude is a tendency to react to people, institutions, or events both positively and negatively and behavior can be broadly defined, that is, everything that is done or experienced by a person and narrowly is behavior that includes reactions that can be observed in general or objectively observable.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Spiritual Guidance and Changes in Social Behavior of Prisoners in Class 1A Penitentiary Cipinang, Jakarta, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative survey research methodology. The data collection technique applied a Likert scale with four answer choices which were distributed to 87 inmates and 40 respondents were sampled. Ethical clearnce was obtained to conduct the research. The results showed that the Spiritual Development variable had a score above the average of 21 prisoners or 77.5%, so it can be said that the Spiritual Development of inmates was good. Meanwhile, the variable of Change in Social Behavior of Prisoners is above the average of 18 inmates or 70%, so it can be said that the Change of Social Behavior of Prisoners is also good. The results of data processing thus clearly showed that there is a correlation between the variables of Spiritual Development and Changes in Social Behavior of Prisoners of 0.528 or 52.8%. This means that the applied Spiritual Guidance has a positive role in Changes in Social Behavior of Prisoners in Class 1A Penitentiary Cipinang, Jakarta, Indonesia. This article is an important contribution for Christian counselors and educators to further guide them in improving the spiritual development of inmates as a pattern of social behavior change, because it can also serve the purpose of improving the personality of prisoners.
The book of Judges is great historiography of the Old Testament. This book is composed of many rhetorical devices in the form of narrative. Scholar, pastor, professor etc pay attention to elaborate theological issue of this book. Some of academic journal elaborate about ethical issue about Jephthah’s vow. Common interpretation used topical approach to examine ethical issue. The main problem to interpret Jephthah vow is that many interpreters did not used narrative approach, so that they have lost the writer emphasis. This article aims to examine Jephthah’s vow according narrative approaches. Some of interpretation book of the Old Testament, especially commentary on Judges 11:29-40 forget narrative approach as literary that writer used. Literary approach of the Judges 11:29-40 presents the properly approach to produce properly theological interpretation. This article elaborating each plot of Judges 11:29-40 to find the motive of narrator. The interpretation is according the structure of narrative text produce the precise and clear interpretation. The writer striving to consistent with an interpretation rule in examine each part of the passage. Therefore, this article is an academic writing that gives rich insights.
