This study aims to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of the edible film of jackfruit seed starch (Artocarpus heterophyllus) added with antioxidant rosella flower extract (Hibiscus sabdariffa). The type of plasticizer used is glycerol. The best treatment in this study was the jackfruit seed edible film with the addition of rosella flower extract 3% (v/v) with the results obtained respectively for a thickness of 0.09 mm, tensile strength 0.003332 N/mm2, elongation percentage 126.36%, elasticity 0.002637 Kgf/mm2, pH 6.122, water absorption 61.67%, solubility 40%, water vapor transmission speed 0.6714 gram/hour m2, FTIR test results show that the process of making edible film in this research is the mixing process Physics, the shelf life of edible film at room temperature is 6 days and at cold temperatures is 8 days, and has antioxidant activity with an IC50 value 219.948 ppm. The addition of rosella flower extract enhances another benefit of edible film which functions as a food protector from the oxidation process (antioxidant).
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan jantan dan betina pada pemijahan secara semi buatan yang dapat menghasilkan fertilisasi , daya tetas telur dan sintasan larva ikan biawan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menurut Hanafiah (2012), yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Susunan perlakuan adalah perlakuan A= 1 Jantan:1 betina , perlakuan B=2 Jantan:1 betina, perlakuan C= 3 Jantan:1 betina dan perlakuan D= 4 Jantan:1betina. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan perbandingan induk jantan dan betina berpengaruh nyata terhadap fertilisasi rate 88,17 % , daya tetas 88,22 %, kelangsungan hidup 84,34 % dan kualitas air sebagai pendukung yaitu suhu 26-290C, pH 6,5–7,0 dan DO 5,0-6 ,0 mg/l. Farmers' capacity to manage rice paddy farming is closely related to individuals' behaviour in managing the farm. Farmer capacity building program has been widely and often conducted relevant government innovation lowland rice farm and delivered to farmers. Still, the farmers cannot give a proper response to lowland rice farm management innovation, especially in terms of strengthening farmers' capacity. This study aims to: (1) determine the level of farmer capacity in managing rice paddy farmers and (2) to analyze the factors related to the capacity level of rice paddy farmers. The research was conducted in the northern part of Tangerang Regency (Pantura), the centre for rice production in the Tangerang Regency. The research was conducted from July to November 2020. Data was collected through FGD interviews and observations of 150 farmers. The data analysis used descriptive test and multiple regression. The results showed that the farmer capacity in managing lowland rice farming in Tangerang district was classified as moderate, both in resource utilization, problem identification, farming planning, and adaptability. The main factor determining the level of farmer capacity in managing rice paddy farmers is formal education and nonformal education.
