Citrus nobilis L. peel was used as a source of essential oil production through water-stem distillation method. The aim of this research was to compare yield and quality of essential oil from Citrus nobilis L. peel obtained from ratio of 0,2; 0,4 and 0,6 of raw material mass and solvent volume during water-stem distillation. In each run, 1000 mL of water was applied as solvent, and the distillation was performed for 6 hours.. Results show that the best yield and quality of the produced essential oil was obtained on 400 gram/1000 mL ratio. This ratio produced essential oil in a yield of 2.18 %, 0.8484 gram/ mL density, yellowish oil with orange typical aroma, and viscous. GC-MS analysis results of the oil show the composition of Limonene 56,96%, α-Pinene 3,86%, β-Phellandrene 1,02%, β-Pinene 2,40%, β-Myrcene 2,76%, Linalool 7,69%, 3-Cyclohexene-1-methanol 2,04%, Nerol 1,44% and Benzenedicarboxylic acid 14,50%.
Character education is influenced by the teacher's character role. The teacher is a role model that is used as a role model and a real example for students in school and in the community. But the reality in the field shows that not all teachers are able to educate. This is shown from the rampant anmoral cases committed by teachers on students such as sexual harassment, physical violence, bullying, smoking in the school environment, and so forth. An immoral teacher can be a factor that affects the moral decline of the nation's children. Teachers should be able to character first in good character so they can set an example for students. Ki Hadjar Dewantara stated Ing Ngarsa Sung Tulada, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, Tut Wuri Handayani. This term indicates that the teacher is an example that is very influential on the formation of character. How is the character that must be possessed by a teacher is an important question that needs to be answered by all educators. Teachers who have ideal character can contribute to the character education of students.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa CD pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan berbasis komputer untuk SMA yang valid dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Media yang dikembangkan memuat materi tentang HIV/AIDS. Pengembangan media pembelajaran ini menggunakan software Adobe Flash Cs3 Professional. Media yang telah dikembangkan melalui dua tahap penelitiannya itu validasi ahli dan uji coba lapangan. Berdasarkan validasi ahli dan uji coba lapangan hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk termasuk kriteria “Sangat baik” dengan rerata skor 4,25. Hasil tes siswa mengalami peningkatan dari rerata skor pretest 5,53 dan rerata skor posttest 7,56. Berdasarkan hasil tes tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran di SMA. The focus of curriculum 2013 uses a scientific approach to place teachers not as information centers but as facilitators, motivators, and inspiration for students. Motivation is a key element for the learning success of students. The teacher's ability as a motivator can be seen from the lesson plann, implementation, and motivation of students participating in learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of motivation physical education learning in elementary schools. This study using survey research. Data obtained through observation of the lesson plan, implementation in the field, and feedback from students. The subjects in this study were teachers who took part in the Elementary School PPGDJ PJOK 2018 at Sriwijaya University, totaling 19 teachers and 19 student elementary school students. The results of the study show (1) 65% of teachers make lesson plans; (2) 79% of teachers motivate students on learning; (3) 86% of students are motivated in learning.
Indonesia as a country has most of its territory covered with water. This places the country at a high risk of getting involved in water accidents. Drowning is one of the most dangerous water accident and it can easily lead to death. This research aims to provide relevant information about water safety and its importance when implemented in schools. This is a survey research. The Surveys were conducted online using a closed questionnaire on the https://docs.google.com/forms domain. The question was given to the students, "Is it important to learn water safety?" This study involved 3 subjects that are students, teachers PE, and parents. The samples used were 175 respondents which include 99 students, 45 teachers, and 31 parents. The survey results show 89% from 175 respondents chose yes, 2,1% from 175 respondents chose no, and 8,7% from 175 respondents chose possibly. The results of this study indicate that students, teachers, and parents agreed education on water activity needs to be implemented in the Schools. Water safety must be implemented in school as it serves as a means to prevent drowning. The results of this survey can be used as preliminary data to conduct further research.
