The development of the educational system, curriculum and pedagogical practice that would be sustainable in three segments of sustainable development stand out as special challenges for professionals dealing with upbringing and education. It is about social development, economic development and environmental protection. These three "pillars" of sustainable development must, by definition, participate equally and cohesively in practice, otherwise they are doomed to failure. Education for sustainable development is very specific primarily in its purpose and essence, and accordingly it is conceptualized in a similar way as education for peace, education for democracy, civic education. According to this definition of sustainable education, this practically means that it must be based on values such as democracy, solidarity, tolerance, equality and justice. Considering that pre-school upbringing and education represent the first stage of the educational system of a society, it is rightly expected that the first steps for lifelong learning will be taken at that level. Accordingly, it is necessary to design curricula that will ensure the intellectual and social development of children.
A characteristic of modern society in the last few decades is the increasingly powerful exchange and transfer of knowledge through information technologies that offer tools for the production, creation, collection, organization, use and storage of knowledge and information. The research was conducted among students of the International University of Novi Pazar, with indicators that indicate the degree of understanding and use of computers and the development of information literacy, after which young people should understand and rationally use information and communication technologies. Students provided answers to questions such as: how to access information and how to evaluate information in a youth support process related to research processes that enable young people to find, download and make relevance assessments, Everyday use of computer-aided technologies by young people also generates larger amounts of information that are difficult to manage. So, young people have a large amount of important information that needs to be recognized on the one hand, and understood on the other, and finally situated in a harmonious relationship, so for them, in computer and IT terms, complex tasks are set, such as how to choose the right technology and how to manage that information. Information management refers, among other things, to the ability of young people to take responsibility, fundamentally for the process of planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling.
The issue of management in education has traditionally been subordinated to the analysis of the issue of teaching and upbringing. The history of the teaching profession, in which the school administration has hardly been given importance for a long time, is the history of the school as an institution. To understand complex situations, unpredictable changes in social moments, cultural contexts, to be ready to face the challenges of numerous but often incomplete information, to bring business and the world of education closer is what is expected from management today. Management is like life - a matter of concessions, where the primary task of the manager is to harmonize the near and distant future, the idea at the highest level of abstraction and balancing the forces that are for change and those who are against it.
