Green open spaces can be potential habitats for birds in urban landscapes. Due to high number of land development, the green open spaces in urban landscapes tend to be small and scattered. Indeed, analysis about effectivity of green open spaces as bird habitats in Bogor City and its surroundings is needed. We investigated bird habitat patches on 14 locations in Bogor City and its surroundings. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of bird habitat patches for bird species richness using two variables (size and complexity). The data were analyzed using the Pearson Correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there were no significant differences between bird species richness and size of patches. Conversely, there were significant differences between bird species richness and complexity of patches. The Pearson Correlation revealed that there were high correlation between bird species richness and complexity of patches. Finally, we propose three recommendations of green open spaces as bird habitat patches in Bogor City and its surroundings, such as protecting and managing both small and large bird habitat patches, increasing number of vegetation strata and number of vegetation in some strata in small bird habitat patches, and increasing number of vegetation in some strata in large bird habitat patch with low bird speciess richness.
This study aimed to determine the community structure of echinoderms and how it related to seagrass cover and water chemical and physical parameters in Pandaratan Beach, Tapanuli Tengah Regency. The research was conducted from Maret to April 2018. Data analysis included community structure analysis and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The result showed that there were seven species of echinoderms from four classes in Pandaratan Beach. The station I had the highest composition of echinoderms, while the lowest noted at station II. The highest abundance of 77 ind/m2 was found at the station I and the lowest of 44 ind/m2 was at station III. The highest diversity index was recorded at the station I, while the highest evenness and dominance index was at station II. Water quality of the waters was still in capacity to support the life of echinoderms. Based on PCA analysis, it was obtained that the abundance of echinoderms was positively correlated with seagrass cover, DO, depth, and phosphate.
The use of botanical insecticide is one of the ways to reduce the negative impact on the agricultural environment due to chemical insecticide applications. Some plants have been identified as botanical insecticide such as Azadirachta indica (Neem), Swietenia mahagoni (Mahagony), Aegle marmelos (Maja fruit), etc. This study was conducted as a part of the demonstration farm located in the swamp rice field in South Kalimantan. The objective of the study was to increase the swamp rice yield by controlling plant pests and disease based on local resources environment friendly. The plot experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with three treatments and six replications and the plot size wase 1.000 m2. The treatments consisted of fully RAISA technology (T1 treatment), RAISA + IAERI botanical insecticide (T2 treatment), and RAISA + Galam botanical insecticide (T3 treatment). The result showed that the highest yield rice was produced in T2 treatment (6.5 t ha−1 unhusked dry rice), then T3 and T1 treatments were 5.5 and 5.1 t ha−1 unhusked dry rice, respectively. The highest amount of insect was found at T1 treatment, followed T2 and T3 treatments, respectively.

Kolesterol darah yang tinggi, dapat berakibat serius bagi kesehatan individu. Seseorang dengan risiko tinggi kolesterol darah hingga 200 mg/dL berisiko tinggi mengalami gangguan kesehatan. Semakin tinggi kadar kolesterol, semakin tinggi risiko jantung dan pembuluh darah. Daun kersen (m. calabura l.) diketahui mengandung flavonoid, triterpenoid, saponin, dan steroid. Saponin efektif dalam peningkatan sekresi, flavonoid menyebabkan pengurangi transfusi HMG-CoA ke mevalonat, mengakibatkan efektif terhadap sintesis kolesterol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan efektifitas air rebusan karsen terhadap kadar kolesterol pada lansia. Oleh karena itu fokus dalam pengabdian ini wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wonomulyo dapat mendukung kegiatan ini dengan memberikan air rebusan daun karsen kepada penderita kolestrol. kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pretest dan posttes dengan pendidikan kesehatan tentang kolestrol. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah lansia dapat menggunakan air rebusan daun karsen dalam menurunkan kolestrol. Perawat dan kader posyandu lansia mampu berkomunikasi dan dan memeberikan informasi kepada lansia penderita kolestrol.
Luka pada infeksi sc adalah suatu permaslahan yang pertama pada praktik pada pembedahan. Bila luka klien terdapat infeksi sehingga perawatan luka akan lebih lama, maka harga pada perawatan rumah sakit akan jadi tinggi. Telah di peroleh data dari pengumpulan data rekam medis di rumah sakit Hajja Andi Depu polewali mandar pada bulan januari-februari 2022 ada 185 klien sc diantaranya 8 yang alami luka infeksi post sc dintaranya 9 yang alami luka infeksi post sc. Hal yang menandakan terjadi peningkatan setiap bulan. Penelitian ini terdapat tujuan untuk memberikan asuhan kebidanan pada ibu post partum, pada jenis penelitian ini adalah asuhan kebidanan untuk mendekatkan studi kasus. Penelitian pada subjek ini merupakan post sc di hari pertama hingga hari ketiga di rumah sakit Hajja Andi Depu polewali mandar periode 2022 sebanyak 2 kasus. Dan di dokumentasikan dalam bentuk SOAP. Metode penelitian: Studi kasus penelitian ini adalah asuhan kebidanan pada ibu multipara dengan post sc di rumah sakit Hajja Andi Depu polewali mandar Tahun 2022 waktu penelitian pada kasus di rumah sakit Hajja Andi Depu polewali mandar lama waktu yang akan dilakukan yaitu sejak pasien pertama kali masuk rumah sakit sampai pulang sampai luka pasien sembuh dan kering. Hasil penelitian: catatan perkembangan kasus 1 klien mengatakan masih rasa nyeri belum teratasi, tampak pengeluaran lochea rubra, pemberian antibiotik tetap dijalankan. Sedangkan pada kasus 2 rasa nyeri juga masih dirasakan, tampak pengeluaran lochea rubra, pada luka operasi masih tertutup verban dan rasa nyeri belum teratasi.
