This research is a type of descriptive research. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using PhET simulation in online learning on temperature and heat material based on student learning outcomes. The level of student effectiveness can be known through the results of the Pre-test and Post-test. PhET simulation is a virtual laboratory simulation covering physics, chemistry, mathematics, earth science, and biology. Furthermore, this research was carried out at SMAN 2 Jember from 3 - 6 January 2022 in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Jember. Prior to sampling, homogeneity test was carried out with the help of the SPSS program. This homogeneity test is used to determine whether the sample data is obtained from a population with homogeneous variance or not. Data on the effectiveness of using PhET simulation in online learning on temperature and heat materials were obtained from test results. it is known that the N-gain score obtained is 0.669. So it can be concluded that the effectiveness of using PhET simulation in online learning on temperature and heat material is in the medium category. Student learning outcomes also increased compared to before using the PhET simulation. Meanwhile, students admitted that they were enthusiastic and not bored so that it was easier for students to understand the material taught by the teacher. This study aims to produce hypermedia-based learning tools that are valid, practical and effective to improve the social science learning outcomes of elementary school students. This research used the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model using an experimental design. The population of this study was teachers of SDN Tamanbaru and SDN Kebalenan along with grade IV students of SDN Tamanbaru amounting to 13 students and grade IV of SDN Kebalenan amounting to 97 students. This research instrument used observation, tests, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques were validity test, reliability test, N-Gain test, and Independent t-test. The results showed: 1) hypermedia-based learning devices have very valid quality with a score of 92.5% and an average reliability of 90.2%; 2) Effective category hypermedia-based learning tools based on the N-Gain value on the limited test of 31.76%; and the experimental class at 34.2%; the results of the independent ttest test obtained the value of the sig lavene's test was 0.203>0.05 and the equality of means obtained a sig of 0.034<0.05; 3) Hypermedia-based learning tools are very practical based on student responses to limited tests, with an average score of 87.70% and the average score of experimental classes of 91.07%; and the ability to manage the learning process on limited tests by 91.2% and experimental classes by 96.4%. Thus, hypermedia-based learning tools are valid, practical, and effective so that they can be used in the social science learning process on the theme of the diversity of work in grade IV elementary school.
Pendidikan di Indonesia diharuskan mampu menghasilkan output dengan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan agar tercapainya Indonesia Emas 2045. Sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas akan bisa tercapai jika diimbangi dengan pelaksanaan pendidikan yang bermutu. Menurut data Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) 2018, Indonesia menduduki peringkat 70 dari 78 negara yang bergabung pada OECD. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Indonesia berada pada kuadran low performance. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar pendidikan dapat terlaksana secara bermutu serta meningkatkan literasi sains adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Salah satu bentuk media pembelajaran inovatif adalah media pembelajaran digital. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan Microsoft SWAY. Tujuan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan dan menguraikan efektivitas media pembelajaran digital materi ikatan atom dan kaitannya dengan bahan untuk pembelajaran Fisika siswa SMA. Metode penulisan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah library research (studi kepustakaan) dan survey secara virtual. Media ini dibuat melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data dan informasi, perencanaan konten, desain dan pengembangan produk, validasi produk, uji coba produk, analisis dan pembahasan, serta penarikan kesimpulan.
