Effect of the Alarm Pheromone of the Southern Green Stink Bug, Nezara uiridukx (L.) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) on the Entomopathogenic Furigi Meta rhizi u in anisopliae (Metsch.) Sorok.The effect of the alarm pheromone extract of the southern greeri stink bug, Nezara uiridula (L.), and some of the synthetic pherornone fractions, were evaluated agairist the eritomopathogenic fungus, Metarhizium anisopliae (Metsch.) Sorok. It was obscrved an irreversible inhibition on the germination of M. anisopliae spores, owing to the compounds trans-2decenal and trans-2-hexenal. These compounds are reported as fungal inhibitors or fungicides.
