This study aims to determine the relationship between financial compensation, leadership style and motivation to the employee's performance of manufacture's company. The respondents were managers of middle management at manufacture's company as much as 110 people chosen randomly from the sampling frame amounted to 152. Data is collected using the instrument in the form of questionnaires. The instrument is calibrated using the validity of items and reliability coefficient. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with PLS Smart package. The results show that: (1) there is no influence of financial compensation (X1) on work motivation (Z), (2) leadership style (X2) has a positive influence on motivation (Z) significantly, (3) there is no influence of financial compensation (X1) on the employee's performance (Y), (4) leadership style (X2) has a positive and significant influence on the employee's performance (Y), and (5) work motivation (Z) directly have a significant positive influence on the employee's performance (Y). These findings have implications that financial compensation does not significantly influence the work motivation and employee's performance. Leadership styles significantly influence workers' motivation and employee's performance. Work motivation influences employee's performance. Leadership is an important factor in providing direction to the employee especially at this present moment in which transparency becomes essential. The leadership that is needed is leadership that can empower their employees. Leadership that can motivate employees is leadership that can foster a sense of confidence of the employees in carrying out their duties.
Purpose: This research has a purpose to know how PT. Granting Jaya implementing a digital marketing strategy to promote the Atlantis Land Surabaya theme park in the field of one of the tourism services located in Surabaya city. The Mayor of Surabaya has established the Atlantis Land area as an integrated marine tourism area since 2017. Ria Kenjeran Beach (Kenjeran Park) previously managed by the Government of Surabaya. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative approach and interview techniques for collecting material that is done with the question and answers verbally unilaterally face to face. Main Finding: The results of the study found that PT. Granting Jaya prefers to use Social Media as a Digital Marketing Strategy is a way to promote a new brand, build preference, and increase the visitors of Atlantis Land Surabaya through Instagram Strategic Marketing. Implications/ Applications: This research can have implications for the selection and use of promotions more precisely through social media. Because the novelty in this study can be applied to attracting the number of visitors in the world of tourism, especially in Surabaya and surrounding areas.
This paper will discuss the effectiveness of marketing on social media and motivation of users on social media account. Data shows that younger populations are heavily addicted to social media and fragmented in artificial communities on social media. This paper will use Krippendorf's Content Analysis as a tool to analyze two Instagram accounts of the most extensive online transportation provider application in Southeast Asia, Grab. Ethnomethodology also used to analyze qualitative data from Grab users, creating meaning about exposure on Grab marketing on social media. Results of this research show how an intersection (or the common grounds) of social media, technology, and innovation became an effective strategy on marketing for Grab for becoming the leader of online transportation in Southeast Asia.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh capital adequacy ratio, total aset, loan to deposit ratio, kualitas aktiva produktif dan biaya operasional terhadap pendapatan operasional terhadap non performing loan pada Bank Umum di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2007 sampai dengan tahun 2014. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 Bank Umum di BEI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi data panel dengan efek random. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa capital adequacy ratio, loan to deposit ratio, kualitas aktiva produktif dan biaya operasional terhadap pendapatan operasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap non performing loan, sedangkan variabel total aset tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap non performing loan. Model efek random layak digunakan untuk mengestimasi pengaruh capital adequacy ratio, total aset, loan to deposit ratio, kualitas aktiva produktif dan biaya operasional terhadap pendapatan operasional terhadap non performing loan. This study aims to reveal and to analyze the influence of job satisfaction, work environment, individual characteristics and compensation toward job stress and employee performance of minerals and metals manufacturing sector in East Kalimantan. The sample is drawn from members of 120 minerals and metals manufacturing sector companies which represented by 1 employee whose position as a manager. Data processing uses structural equation modeling which obtained 7 acceptable hypotheses and 2 rejected hypotheses.7 accepted hypotheses are: (1) Job satisfaction significantly and negatively relates to job stress. (2) Work environment significantly and negatively relates to job stress. (3) Individual characteristic significantly and negatively relates to job stress. (4) Compensation significantly and negatively relates to job stress. (5) Job satisfaction significantly and positively influences employee performance. (6) Compensation positively and significantly influences the employee performance. (7) Job stress negatively and significantly influences the employee performance. Furthermore, the two rejected hypotheses are: (1) The work environment is not a significant influence on employee performance. (2) Individual characteristics do not significantly affect the employee performance.
