Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC), a compound made made of eceng gondok has been implied for its characteristic by a constructive wet system, with media such as methanol, propanol and water. Four consecutive phases involving alkalization, carboxymethylization, neutralization and drainage were used in the making process of CMC. The first two process were prepared by reacting NaOH and ClCH2COONa with NaOH 22; 32.5; 39.2; 45.9 g and 20; 26; 32; 38 g ClCH2COONa respectively. Added acetic acid was used in the neutralization process, whilst drainage only involved heating in the oven. The overall result for each characteristic substitution degree, acidity; viscosity; contens of water consentration of NaCl and purity 0.4 - 0.85, 6.10 - 8.49, 3 - 10 cP, 3.57 - 19.4 %, 12.9 - 22.4 % and 77.96 - 87.09 % respectively. Based on the obtained characteristic, could be concluded that CMC is considered as a technical quality and can also be used as filler constituent in adhesive. Abstract. Manufacturing of Nano gold cosmetics was done at PT. Gizi Indonesia. Clinical trials to cosmetics data supported that cosmetics are able to treat skin health which has been reported partially. For special cases, the recovery process of facial skin damage should also receive attention including cases of facial skin damage caused by chemicals such as phenol, HCl, aqua regia or other harsh chemicals. The problem determined whether the Nano gold is able to recover skin damage due to the harsh chemicals. This clinical trial data on the forms of early skin damage caused by phenol was delivered in the forms of facial photos patients. The recovery progress of facial skin condition was obtained every week for two months. The data included the forms of widespread wounds during the recovery process. This statement supported by anova statistical analysis of the widespread wound changing every week for 8 times. The conclusion is skin damage due to Phenol impregnation can be recovered with the use of Nano gold cosmetics for 8 weeks. This results support the manufacturing of Nano gold cosmetics for the needs of society. It also suggest that Nano gold material can be used for medicine manufacturing in the future.
Learning materials have been developed which then conducted the study and validation to the expert lecturers and then tested to the students to find out the validity of the feasibility of learning materials in the field of Industrial Chemistry as one of the supporting subjects of Ecopreneurship in Chemistry Department. From the data obtained can be concluded that learning materials in the form of Lesson Plan, Worksheet, and Instrument Rating get very good criteria. These criteria are obtained based on theoretical feasibility and empirical feasibility. Based on these results, learning tools developed can be used as learning tools for Industrial Chemistry courses to support ecopreneurship.
Kegiatan Produksi dan pemasaran kosmetik “Nanogold” ini memiliki tujuan jangka panjang mengembangkan wirausaha di dalam lingkungan kampus yang berbasis hasil riset dosen. Adapun target khusus yaitu menjadikan hasil penelitian kosmetik menjadi produk kosmetik yang siap dikomersilkan dalam bentuk wirausaha bagi mahasiswa dan dosen serta melibatkan civitas akademika yang lain. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk mewujudkan tujuan, diawali dengan membangun komunikasi antara tim pelaksana dan dosen-dosen kewirausahaan yang ada di Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). Pada tahun pertama ini juga pembuatan produk, perkenalan produk, pelabelan dan uji pemasaran produk di lingkungan kampus UNESA. Dalam uji pemasaran dilakukan analisis terhadap minat konsumen terhadap berbagai jenis krem yang diproduksi. Hal ini sangat penting sebagai dasar penentuan jumlah dan rasio jenis krem yang akan diproduksi ke depan. Selain itu dari analisis minat konsumen terhadap jenis krem juga dapat diketahui kondisi umum dan jenis kulit para pengguna kosmetik Nanogold. Pemasaran selama 5 bulan menghasilkan data bahwa seluruh jenis krem (10 macam) diminati oleh konsumen, akan tetapi masing-masing jenis krem memiliki jumlah peminat yang berbeda. Krem paling diminati adalah krem antinoda dan krem jerawat. Hal ini memberikan informasi bahwa konsumen memiliki masalah kulit paling banyak adalah flek hitam dan jerawat. Adapun secara keseluruhan krem pagi terjual 5 kali dibanding krem malam, hal ini berarti konsumen tidak selalu membeli krem pagi berpasangan krem malam, sehingga tidak perlu memproduksi krem malam sebanyak krem pagi. Krem dengan peminat paling sedikit hanya 1/10 krem antinoda, adalah krem pelembab bibir dan mata, namun pelanggan yang sama membeli secara periodik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun hanya sedikit peminat tetapi tetap harus diproduksi. Data secara keseluruhan dapat dijadikan pedoman penyusunan rencana produksi berbagai jenis krem nanogold, hal ini dimaksudkan agar krem-krem yang dibuat dalam waktu yang bersamaan akan habis dalam waktu yang bersamaan pula. Hal ini dilakukan agar tidak terjadi kelebihan produksi untuk jenis krem tertentu sampai masa kedaluwarsa terlewati masih ada krem yang belum terjual. Pengelolaan produksi ini dimaksudkan untuk mempersiapkan rencana produksi jangka panjang krem nanogold.
Dangerous substances in cosmetics have been widely known especially mercury face whitening. Socialization of the impact has also been made by NA-DFC (The National Agency of Drug and Food Control. However, the circulation of cosmetics contain contains mercury still exist on the community society. It needs an effort to convince the society about the dangers of mercury, by showing directly the users' complaints data about cosmetics that contains mercury on it. The research got accurate data from those cosmetic user as volunteer. This research is intended to give accurate information on the impact of the use of cosmetics containing that contain mercury on the face through the volunteers' complaints in medical records. Research data in the form of volunteer medical record data and the data content of mercury in cosmetics are used. The result showed there are strong correlation between volunteer complaints i.e., spot, acne and blackheads with mercury that contains in cosmetics formula used. It can be concluded that mercury in cosmetics causes dangerous effects including spot, acne and blackheads. It is hoped that this research will bring cosmetics users not to use mercury cosmetics although the result is nice in the beginning.
Development on batik production processes inovation including dyeing process and pattern design become one of important factors that increase selling and production. Blitar city has unique batik product namely koi fish batik. The product is less popular among others batik from different city, so training on dyeing process with natural dye are essential to do. The objective of the training were to improve skill of dyeing process. The training for batik tulis group partner which Asih Matahari group included introduction of natural dye for batik dyeing and introduction of eco friendly fixation agent for dyeing process and use of padder tools to improve efficiency of dye coating process. The result of the training showed that batik group can use natural dye and do the dyeing with fixation agent Chitosan . Response of the training member showed high enthusiasm and interested toward training..
The true using of cosmetics will give so many good effects such as healthy, elastic and younger face, otherwise bad using of cosmetics can cause many problems such as Acne, spot, oily skin and dry skin. This clinical research using nanogold and nanoseaweed was aimed as a solution for negative effect of cosmetics. This research service society from Surabaya and other area involving 254 volunteers where 48 volunteers among them full field 4 weeks trial. The data volunteers taken were face-scant data and medical report. The medical report data of 48 volunteers were: 29,2% with acne problems, 25% oily problems, 29,2 % spot problems and 16,6 % in normal condition with different cosmetics utilization story. The face scant data of volunteers show that recovery progress occurred step by step in the range time 1-4 weeks with different condition. The result of this Nanogold and nanoseaweed research in the cosmetics formulation can reduce the cosmetic problems and can give better skin healthy. The impact of this research will making the society not worry to use Nanogold-Nanoseaweed cosmetics so that the fabrication process of these cosmetics can be accelerated.
