This study aims to determine and examine the law enforcement of illegal fishing and the factors that inhibit law enforcement of illegal fishing conducted by foreign ships in the sea of Indonesia in terms of international maritime law. The type of research used by the authors in this study is a type of normative legal research. Normative legal research is done by examining the object of the form of legislation or legal norms applicable or applied to a particular legal problem. Concerning the type of research used the approach. The results showed that according to the 1982 International Maritime Law Convention (UNCLOS 1982) law enforcement of illegal fishing has been regulated in Article 73 UNCLOS 1982 while in the Indonesian National Law has been regulated in Article 69 Paragraph (4) law Number 45 of 2009 on Fisheries. Further obstacles to law enforcement are the impenetrable enforcement, lack of insight, and the integrity of law enforcement, and the lack of an active role and awareness of the community to assist law enforcement of illegal fishing in the Indonesian marine territory.
This paper discuss about character development activities in the middle school (junior and senior high school), the responsible parties, and the obstacles encountered in character education. The descriptive method was used shows that character development activities consist of: 5S habit (smile, greeting, greet, handshake, polite), creation of a clean and green environment, improvement of faith and devotion, singing national songs, reading habits, praying in congregation, flag ceremonies and anniversaries of the national day, collection and distribution of charity, activities to commemorate religious holidays, development of student potential, peer tutors, and the orientation of new pupils; the parties involved are the head master, teachers, employees, pupils, parents/guardians, and the surrounding community; and obstacles encountered are communication between the parties and the motivation of the pupils. Upon these results, Regulation of The Minister of Education and Culture Number 23 Year 2015 Concerning Character Development in The Middle School have been implemented well. And there are three differences of implementation character education between Indonesia and America.
Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal level HOTs, hasil kegiatan, dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Metode menggunakan pelatihan. Kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal HOTs dilakukan dengan ceramah, kerja individu, kerja kelompok, presentasi, pembahasan, dan penguatan yang dilaksanakan selama 2 (dua) hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan masih rendahnya kemampuan guru dalam menulis soal HOTs, dari 84 peserta sebanyak 2 soal yang mencapai level HOTs, 2 peserta mencapai level MOTs, dan 80 lainnya masih berada pada level LOTs. Kendala yang dihadapi: (1) 1 instruktur membimbing 84 peserta sehingga tidak dapat maksimal memberikan pendampingan, (2) ruangan tidak kondusif, luas 40 M untuk 84 peserta, panas, (3) peserta tidak pernah menerapkan pembelajaran yang HOTs atau pembelajaran dengan tingkat pengetahuan metakognitif.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um032v1i12018p048
This article aims to discuss the reasons for the community to carry out the Ketupat and Serabi Salvation during the Covid-19 pandemic, the process of implementing the Ketupat and Serabi Salvation, and public opinion about the implementation of the Ketupat and Serabi Salvation. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The reason people carry out the Ketupat and Serabi Salvation during the Covid-19 pandemic because there are many victims who died because of this outbreak. The process of implementing the Ketupat and Serabi Salvation is make seven pieces of Ketupat and Serabi then pray individually or together in the prayer room or mosque. Ketupat and serabi that have been prayed for are consumed by all family members so that they are given safety and health by God. The implementation of the Ketupat and Serabi Salvation in Sidorenggo Village, Ampelgading District, Malang Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic is a form of public trust in a tradition of Ketupat and Serabi salvation that has been carried out for generations during a deadly disease outbreak
