The effectiveness of insecticide-treated nets are believed to reduce the prevalence of malaria is influenced by the behavior of people in their use , such as how to install and wash , in addition to duration of use . People's behavior can be different in each region with respect to culture , culture and ethnicity / ethnicity as a predisposing factor . The purpose of this study is to describe the behavior of people in the use of insecticide-treated nets ( LLINs ), such as the acceptance, use, washing and participation in the care of LLINs (program preservation).The study design was observational cross-sectional design. The instrument of this research is questionnaire and observation guidance of mosquito net. Samples are people with insecticide-treated nets in Lebak regency (Banten) were 81 respondents . Data were analyzed by descriptive. The results showed the level of knowledge about the use of mosquito nets in the category of " enough " (70,4 %) , with the majority being " support " the use of mosquito nets (65,4 %), and the practise of the use of mosquito nets were classified as " good " (58 %). The results also show the observation nets most respondents installing netting around the bed either owned or partially owned the bed.nowledge of the use of mosquito nets is not maximal and in the use of insecticide treated nets LLINs in a small number of respondents complained of heat and stifling, so it is necessary to evaluate the benefits of socialization activities and how to install and care of insecticide treated nets LLINs that have been done.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengidentifikasi peran model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan laboratorium virtual PhET dalam meningkatkan HOTs siswa SMA. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kuantitatif beserta Pre-Experimental sebagai metode penelitian yang berbentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di SMAN 17 Surabaya secara daring pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan sampel penelitian 30 siswa kelas X MIPA 5 yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui metode tes tertulis berbentuk soal esai dengan kategori HOTs yang diuji validitas terlebih dahulu sebelum diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis melalui software SPSS 25 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 5% serta uji N-gain untuk mengidentifikasi level peningkatan HOTs peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa data sampel homogen dan terdistribusi normal sehingga uji hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan Paired-Samples T-test dengan hasil nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model PBL berbantuan laboratorium virtual PhET pada peningkatan HOTs peserta didik dengan level peningkatan sedang dan N-gain 0,56.Kata kunci: PBL, Laboratorium Virtual, PhET, HOTs
Education is fundamental in improving the welfare of the nation, because education is a place for moral cultivation, good character, independence, and other knowledge. Al-Ghazali is one of the leaders of classical Islamic thought who is a Sufism thinker and many of the expertise he mastered, one of which is dubbed as Hujjatul Islam (defender of Islam) and Imam al-Murabbin (Expert in Education), while Abdullah Nashih Ulwan is a figure of modern thought in in the world of education. He was the first person to introduce Tarbiyah Islamiyah subjects which were used as basic lessons in school. This study aims to determine the similarities and differences of early childhood Islamic education from the perspective of Al-Ghazali and Abdullah Nashih Ulwan. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. This type of research is library research (library research). Data collection techniques used were using the documentation method. Data analysis techniques using content analysis techniques. The results of this study are similarities and differences in the concept of early childhood Islamic education from the perspective of Al-Ghazali and Abdullah Nashih Ulwan.
Data of mosquito fauna is important to be known as basic effort in vector mosquito control. It is necessary to update the data from time to time. The effort of updating the mosquito fauna was started from South Sumatra Province. Amount of 2,784 mosquito specimens were examined. The result showed there are 62 species of mosquitoes from South Sumatra Province and they belong to 10 genera. One species of culicid mosquito were recorded for the first time from Indonesia, namely A edes (Downsiomyia) pexus and six other species were first recorded on Sumatra Island. These species are now included in the Sumatran Culicidae checklist.
